Everyone jumped all over my ass when I told them what Sam said to me. We sweeped an entire ten mile radius and there's no sign of her. We now stand near the entryway discussing everything most of the X-men have solemnly given up for today and turned in for the night.

Evidently the current situation isn't sitting well with Storm who has gone to bed. There's a massive rainstorm going on outside and she's probably causing it in her sleep. Meanwhile some of us are still up and trying desperately to figure this out. Scott paces back and forth it's incredibly annoying.

"So you're telling me she just said she had to go and then left? After all this time?"

"Summers for the hundredth fucking time that's what she said, she told me she had to go but she told me she's safe."

"She must have given you some indication of where-"

"Do you think I wouldn't tell you if I knew?! You're not the only person who cares about Sam asshole!"

He's being a complete dick. Scott puts his hand on his visor and I let the claws pop. Hank, always the peace keeper, steps in between us.

"My friends fighting amongst ourselves will not help us find Samantha."

I lift an eyebrow at Scott he had threatened me, there's no way in hell I'm putting my guard down first. He reluctantly puts his hand by his side. I retract the claws.

"What can we do? With the professor missing we don't have any way of using Cerebro."

Scott looks distraught he hasn't been the same since Jean passed. He used to keep a cool head but now, he's even more uptight than he was before.

"We must look to other means of locating her. Perhaps we should reevaluate the events of the past three hours."

I roll my eyes. Hank means well but sometimes action is better than analysis.

"You guys can talk all you want I'm going to go look for her."

"But it's pouring rain out there."

I huff at Scott.

"Do I look like I give a fuck?"

I grab my coat and head for the door Kurt appears beside me.

"Don't even try to talk me out of this."

"Nein, mein freund I'm coming with you."

"Same here."

Jubilee, Bobby, and Kitty are all in their coats and rain boots, (though I suppose Jubilee was almost always in her rain boots and raincoat) we all must have had the same idea. We leave for a night of hopeless searching.
