"Amora."

Fury lifts an eyebrow towards Thor. I look at Loki and I see recognition on his face too, he seems upset by her involvement in this.

"You know this woman?"

"Yes but she was banished from Asgard centuries ago."

Fury lifts his eyebrows obviously looking for more of an explanation.

"It's a bit complicated she was Loki's lover at one point. They studied sorcery together and became quite close."

I look at the woman's picture again suddenly feeling a little threatened by her sudden appearance. She's stunning with her long blonde hair, striking green eyes, and perfect figure. I feel average in comparison. She's not afraid to flaunt what she has either with her revealing green, black, and gold armor.

I find myself a little angry as I study the armor it's stupid but that color scheme, she shouldn't be wearing it

I find myself a little angry as I study the armor it's stupid but that color scheme, she shouldn't be wearing it. 'Is she here to try and steal him from me?!' I need to stop I'm being ridiculous I'm thinking like a high school girl. Loki's obviously not happy to see her here. Tony laughs a little.

"Why doesn't that surprise me? -ow!"

Pepper jabs him in the ribs with her elbow. I shoot her a thankful look. Whatever his history with her I don't appreciate the remark from Tony. Thor continues.

"She used her access into the palace from that relationship to attack me in my quarters. She was banished for her actions shortly after."

I can tell Thor's leaving details out I don't know why. I guess details aren't important for the others to know I'll ask later. Strange speaks up then.

"Remind me again why we shouldn't be suspicious?"

I look at Loki knowing he's likely feeling anxious at Strange's question but he seems zoned out his mind wandering elsewhere as we talk.

"Things ended badly between them because of her attacking me. I remind you that this happened centuries ago."

Strange doesn't look fully satisfied by that but doesn't press the matter further folding his arms and allowing Thor to continue.

"She was banished to Vanaheim and we hadn't heard a word from her or of her since then, til now."

Steve looks deep in thought he seems to make up his mind about something he looks to Loki.

"Loki, I want you to dictate this mission you know Amora best and have the best understanding of her abilities out of all of us."

I look at Loki then and he's obviously snapped out of his thoughts. He smiles at this as he nods likely surprised to be trusted with something so important. I see some people around the room that look less than thrilled with the idea. They respect Steve though and keep their mouths shut.

"Alright just let me think for a moment."

Loki seems to ponder what to do the Avengers begin quietly chatting amongst themselves. I overhear Sam Wilson lean in and whisper something to Steve.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?"

Steve whispers back.

"Sam if we never try trusting him with something we'll never know if we can."

"Does that something need to be this important?"

"Yes, we've already trusted him with smaller things, and we'll be watching him closely."

Steve catches me looking at them and looks at me apologetically knowing I heard everything. I smile slightly at him in thanks he's giving Loki a chance to prove himself. We talk amongst ourselves for a bit as Loki seems to wrack his brain.

I get a text from Mary explaining that her flight had been delayed due to the attack on New York. She was wondering if she could crash at our place again tonight. I tell her that's fine and explain our current situation as well. Finally Loki seems to have a plan he speaks up.

"Alright I have a plan but some of you aren't going to like it."
