Trying to separate the jewel from the vambrace so it didn't accidentally disappear along with the other things when I changed my appearance with the spell proved a challenge it took weeks but eventually I got it.

The next step was to bring it to the jeweler he gave me an estimated time table of about a month and a half. I offered him double what he had already asked to get it done before April 12 being that was the day I brought Sam home to New Asgard last year. I felt it was fitting I should ask her on that day if possible. He agreed to try now all that's left to do is wait.

I come home finally in possession of both rings, tomorrow is the 12th. I've invited Sam to walk with me by the cliffside at sunset. It will be beautiful scenery to complement my question. I've contacted Peter so we can carry out his ridiculous plan. Everything's falling into place. I just wish my unease with my being in the news would leave me.

Even without Peter recording the event I know that Sam and I's engagement will quickly create a media circus around us. This does bother me but my desire to propose outweighs my apprehension of the media. My thoughts are interrupted by a knock on the door. I open it to find Jennifer Walters standing there looking excited.

"Jen?"

"Hey there Lo' I have some great news! Is Sam home?"

Her dual citizenship has finally gone through.

"She is come in I'll find her."

I find Sam in the garden. I hired some gardeners to replant it and it's looking beautiful. Sam always trains here unless it's rainy or cold.

"Sam, Jen's here."

"What?"

She follows me inside and Jennifer greets her.

"Sam! Look at you! You've come so far."

"Jennifer did it... did it go through?"

Jennifer nods excitedly putting her briefcase on the table and opening it.

"Yes, It's right here on your new passport you're free to come and go to America and any country following the Sokovia Accords as you please due to your now proven and legally unshakable dual citizenship status, as agreed upon by the M.R.D, American Immigration Council, and United Nations during your trial."

Sam hugs Jennifer who's surprised by this action.

"Thank you, thank you so much!"

Jennifer pats her on the back.

"I was just doing my job Miss Howlett."

Sam nods and lets go tears fall from her eyes.

"Not everyone would have fought so hard for a mutant."

"Sam, my cousin is the Hulk it's going to take more than a mutation to bother me."

She pulls away smiling apologetically.

"I'm sorry to just pop in then leave so soon but I need to get back to New York I promised my boyfriend I'd be back in time for brunch tomorrow and I can't do that if I miss my flight and before either of you offer I can't use sling rings or the bifrost to get home.
They can cause quite a mess when it comes to U.S. customs and boarder protection laws for unauthorized travel. People wouldn't usually care but I've upset someone very powerful in Hell's Kitchen who's just itching for a reason to go after me so I'll get off their back, unless I spontaneously gain powers and become an Avenger or land a job as part of S.H.I.E.L.D's legal team it's too big a risk for my career to travel that way."

Sam smiles.

"Okay, Of course, thank you Miss Walters.

Jennifer leaves and Sam looks over all the paperwork Jennifer left on the table excitedly.

"We should visit soon."

I nod with this change in circumstance we will probably be visiting tomorrow to share the news but she doesn't know that.

"Perhaps tomorrow night after our walk?"

She nods later in the evening here is more convenient a time for them in New York. Tomorrow's going to be quite the day.
