As Loki talks with Fury I decide it's a good idea for me to let the X-men know about this plan. I don't need them freaking out and trying to rescue me thus ruining the plan. The whole world's going to think Loki's betrayed us but they're going to be proven wrong about him by the end of this. I make a couple quick phone calls.

When we land on the ground I'm reminded of old news footage of 2012. It's chaotic Amora's army had broken through the army's barricade and is making their way through the city. Though he could probably shapeshift just to be safe Loki's not with us right now to ensure Amora doesn't suspect anything.

I'm currently fighting a member of the army she had recruited. As we've been fighting Thor's been talking about the mission at hand. Thor told me they called themselves the Marauders and he had faced them before but they had grown into a larger force since his last scrape with them. Likely due to Amora's powers of seduction. Thor told us she had been dubbed Amora the Enchantress before her banishment from Asgard.

The goal for now is to push her forces out of the city then make it seem as if we're overrun and get out of there. I don't know about anyone else but if I see that bitch I might not be able to refrain from engaging with her. Loki had looked really hurt when he told me about the nature of their relationship.

'How could someone do that?' How could you take advantage of someone's emotions then stab them in the back like that? And to Loki who at the time was completely innocent just a shy extremely handsome Asgardian nerd. She saw him struggling with loneliness and took advantage of that.

She also seemed not to understand that no means no. If I'm reading between the lines of what Thor and Loki have told me I'm pretty sure she did more to Thor in his quarters than just attack him. To me that makes her no better than the men who kidnapped me. I have no qualms about handing this woman her ass.

I find myself angry about this while fighting. I've been toying with this guy fighting him hand to hand instead of using my two most powerful weapons Mjölnir and my mutant abilities. I let this guy have it wishing it was Amora's face I was punching instead. I finally knock him out. Five of the Marauders approach me now thinking they have the upper hand.

I begin fighting them hand to hand taking out my frustrations about letting that woman near Loki again with the next phase of our plan. This will take a while but I want to let off some steam. I fight them for a while then I can hear Steve's voice through my com link.

"Howlett quit messing around! We need to push their forces back."

'Damnit.' I look around and sure enough in the distance I can see the Captain taking out a group of Marauders with a throw of his shield. I sigh. Then call Mjölnir taking the Marauders out in one foul swoop. I run to catch up to the team.

We allow ourselves to be surrounded by the enemy then are extracted via the helicarrier away from the battle sight. Phase one is a success. Loki's on the helicarrier waiting for me as I'm hoisted onboard. I throw him a smile as I unclip my harness.

"Sup handsome?"

He smiles mischievously as if he's up to something.

"Oh nothing really, I've just been doing some reading."

Ok him reading isn't exactly unbelievable but his tone sounds sus. Now I'm sure he's up to something but whatever it is isn't throwing off bad vibes so I just give him a suspicious smile and drop it. As we walk through the helicarrier we talk.

"So we're onto phase two now."

"Yes, I feel it would be best to wait till tomorrow to move forward with it as it would be a little too convenient for me to show up with captives on the same day, though we should start figuring out who's going to be joining me."

I nod glad I get to sleep with him tonight.

"Have anyone in mind?"

"I know it's probably futile but if I could convince Strange to come he'd probably be the best person for this mission. His skills in magic rival mine and it will take someone like that to take her down quickly."

"Yeah that seems unlikely, I know you've worked with him but he doesn't seem to trust you all that much."

"I know so I was also thinking about bringing Wanda. Though she lacks any real knowledge when it comes to her magic she might be able to disrupt Amora's magic with her abilities."

"That's probably a good idea. She seems to like you well enough too."

He nods and seems to think some more.

Eventually everyone is called into the meeting room to discuss phase two of the plan. Loki wastes no one's time.

"Alright, if you are unwilling or uncomfortable taking part in phase two you may be dismissed."

Strange looks a little surprised at the fact Loki's giving everyone a chance to back out as he gets up to leave. He's followed by Hope, Rhodey, Sam Wilson, and Clint. Loki nods to Clint understandingly as he leaves. Going on this mission would probably drag up too many bad memories for him.

I stop glaring at the others and smile at him slightly as he passes he gets a pass from me. I know first hand how bad traumatic memories can be. Loki looks at the room in silence for several more seconds likely not believing this many people were willing to participate. He raises his eyebrows in surprise when he notices Sif is among those staying, He finally addresses the room.

"Is that everyone?"

He's answered with several nods from various members of the team.

"Alright then, I propose that the best group for me to go with would be Sam, Wanda, and Rogers."

Steve looks a little concerned.

"Are you sure taking Sam along is the best idea?"

"She's made it quite clear to me that her participation in this phase of my plan is non negotiable."

There are some surprised looks around the room. It goes without saying that Loki's a 'I do what I want' type of guy and people are surprised he's giving in to anyone like that. Steve nods.

"They're both understandable, they're both powerhouses of the team but why me?"

"Remember Germany? You fought me and held your own without backup for a while."

Loki smiles.

"Also I thought that we would perhaps be in need of a rousing speech to boost morale before facing Amora head on."

Steve nods with a smile.

"You picked the right man for the job then."

The meeting is adjourned. We all go our separate ways. The army, along with the X-men working in the shadows (they apparently hadn't had that much trouble with Sauron in the Savage Land) have Amora's army at least somewhat in check people are fairly safe for now.
