—-Sam—-

As we near the citadel we regroup and go over our plan once more. Loki, who has some admittedly shaky rapport (because of the whole backstabbing then escaping thing) with these people, is going to take me in there as his 'prisoner' and offer me to Sauron and whoever he's working with as a peace offering.

He objected heavily to this idea when I brought it to the table but it was a solid plan and he knew it. Assuming Loki will be able to silver tongue his way out of trouble for his betrayal this should serve as an excellent distraction. The others are going to work on shutting down whatever is causing our powers to fail.

As soon as this happens Loki and I will take out whoever's in charge then join up with the others to find Shanna and anyone else imprisoned here. I set Mjölnir down on the forest floor I will simply call it to me later if everything goes as planned. Loki ties my hands loosely with some vines. I can't help but feel this looks too staged. They'll see right through this unless...

"Punch me."

"What?!"

"This has to look real. If the details are off they won't buy it."

He shakes his head.

"Absolutely not!"

I roll my eyes he's too much of a gentleman.

"Laura?"

Laura doesn't hesitate at my request and punches me twice leaving me with a black eye and bloody nose. Loki is horrified at her and looks ready to stab her. I take a dagger and very carefully create a cut on my neck one that will bleed but doesn't cut the jugular.

"SAM!!"

Loki takes the dagger from my hands and chucks it into the forest. I smirk at him.

"Now it looks real."

He frowns at me. Then decides not to argue he knows I'm right. He turns to Ka-Zar.

"Should I leave Vili out here?"

Scott looks confused and slightly annoyed.

"Vili?"

Loki looks adorably embarrassed and looks at the ground then gestures to the snake.

"That's what I've decided to call her."

Scott looks surprised at his display of embarrassment. Ka-Zar answers.

"She should be fine these snakes are very sturdy because of the predators they have to deal with and creatures they live among. It is very hard to pierce through their scales and they can survive being stepped on by even the biggest creatures that roam the Savage Land without being harmed."

Loki nods then begins leading me to the citadel Vili still wrapped around him. I begin acting channeling the anxiety of my previous time in captivity. It seems to genuinely bother Loki so I tone it down a little, I can't have him breaking character.

When Loki shows up they're confused about why he would return. They don't trust him but eventually he talks them into seeing the master. I fall on the ground making him drag me to the master's throne room really selling it to these people.
