—-Loki—-
I groan as I read the text from Tony.
"We have to go on a mission."
It's the final act of a film called Lilo and Stitch and I had been invested in the story before the alert came through. Sam groans.
"Uggg! Tell Tony we're busy!"
She's purposely being foolish she lazes about on the couch for a moment. I laugh at her then lift her up off the couch.
"Come on now mortal."
She grumbles to herself as she picks up the remote and pauses the film.
"Frickin bad guys can't take the holidays off?"
"I know they're simply rude to interrupt us because as you can see we have very important matters to attend to."
I gesture to the screen. She sighs and chuckles a bit at my halfhearted sarcasm. She begins making her way to the table Mjölnir is sitting on.
"Let's get this over with so we can get back to business."
I smile this has been fun not just because of the films but because of all the time I've spent with her over the past few days. Since the Amora incident we have become a bit more intimate we haven't 'gone all the way' but I'm starting to convince Sam that intimacy isn't something to fear.
Her first time experiencing it had been forced upon her she didn't have a understanding that it could be anything but pain and fear. She's slowly coming around on it. I don't do anything she hasn't explicitly told me she's comfortable with. I will not be the cause of another anxiety attack and this promise to myself is as good as a promise to Sam.
I will never do anything to cause her that much distress again, not if there's anything I can do to avoid it. We change into our suits she's staring at me. This suit is a work in progress it is adorned with green jewels in various pieces of armor it's a bit excessive but I think with a few quick alterations it will do quite nicely for today's mission.
"I know, I know, it's a bit much I haven't quite gotten this one figured out."
Sam takes my arm looking at the jewels in my vambrace.
"Those are beautiful!"
The jewels are a green colored stone native only to Asgard. She inspects them for a moment admiring the mineral's beauty, moving the piece of armor back and forth watching the light play with the colors in the jewel she then looks at my suit overall.
"You're right though the whole getup together is overkill."
I nod making the appropriate alterations. She smiles looking my armor over.
"Yass queen!! Now that's the Loki standard I've come to expect!"
I smile and laugh at her Midgardian expression of approval.
"You look ravishing as well mortal."
She blushes I can't help myself I lean down and kiss her. After a moment she pulls away.
"We better get going before Thor comes knocking, we don't wanna be late again either."
I continue holding onto her.
"Hmm I don't much care."
She rolls her eyes and squirms away with a giggle. She takes my hand and leads me out the door.
"Come on brat you're the one that pulled me off my very comfortable spot on the couch!"
I laugh and we both leave the house for Thor's.
