Thierry gathered a group of 50 vampires along with Diego, just like Marcel had instructed. Diego nodded to Thierry, turning to the group as he installed their plan. "I just spoke with the two witches, and they're heading in from the back for the pregnant girl. It's our job to distract these idiots while the interaction is made. Otto and Max, find the pregnant girl as well just in case these new witches decide to change their minds last minute. Follow them but don't make yourselves known."
"Look, man. We've been singing the same tune for weeks now, we can't trust these witches. These two new people just prove our point," Tomas sighed, shaking his head as he glanced into the woods. The night was slowly falling but light still washed through the trees.
"I don't care, if Marcel trusts them, we do what we gotta do." Diego rolled his eyes, annoyed.
"Don't you wonder at least how he has them under his finger so easily?" Tomas scoffed. "I mean, no witch is allowed to practice magic in the Quarter without his permission and he can immediately detect when they break his rule. In the first couple weeks, since he declared this, 60 witch bodies dropped and he was so sure that they performed magic. How does he do it? His intuition? Come on, Diego, you gotta admit you want to know what trick is up to his sleeve."
"It doesn't matter how much you hate the witches, Marcel is handling the city in a way that no bloodshed is in the streets so sit your ass down and shut the hell up about it," Thierry snarled, jaw ticking with irritation. He'd recovered from the little accident that occurred further down the road and glared at every vampire.
"I'm still wondering how. The Mikaelson's are back in town, there's no way someone like Marcel can deal with them." Felicity stepped up, earning a couple of nods from the group. She crossed her arms and tapped her foot impatiently. As loyal as his vampires were, not all of them fell under the level of loyalty Diego and Thierry were on. Not all of them were willing to walk into war with him.
Diego sighed, rubbing his face. "Okay, guys. I'm not even meant to tell you this but we can't be breaking apart now. Marcel told me that he is secretly dealing with the Originals problem so stop worrying about it. I trust him, the question is, do you guys?"
It was silent but eventually, the group eventually nodded back. Thierry riled them up, and they soon began to chant. This all broke when the first howls of werewolves broke out and the vampires finally charged.
Elijah stood out far in the woods, previously eavesdropping on the conversation Diego had with the vampires. He had one hand in his pocket, eyes narrowed as he locked the information at the back of his mind.

Bonnie and Kai wove through the darkly hooded trees, quickly approaching the cabin. They halted momentarily at the sound of a howl but Bonnie urged him forward, jogging slightly. She stumbled, gasping painfully at the harmful ache that exploded in her body, rooting in her head. "BonBon?" Kai slowed, turning to her.
She grabbed the tree for support, her eyes blinding. She hyperventilated as the vision flooded her mind. It was like flashes of a camera, images swiping by quickly. Bonnie's mouth formed slow words, gasping as she said, "Keep going, I'm right behind you."
"I'm not--"
"Keep going, I'm right behind you," she snarled louder and Kai froze. He stood there for a moment, before deciding to listen, jogging out front.
Bonnie inhaled and exhaled deeply, the images become readable. Hayley, screaming loudly, forehead swimming in sweat, hair matted and stuck to her skin, skin so, so, pale. Something was wrong. The image panned out, Hayley's stomach the size of a large watermelon, legs wide open. The image switched again, widening the clip and Bonnie realized that witches were surrounding what seemed to be an altar, chanting viciously. One witch, an adult to the 4 teenagers who were helping Hayley push, stood in the center holding what seemed to be an ancient talisman. The bloody baby pushed out, right into the hands of a beautiful brown-haired girl. Hayley continued screaming, crying out to hold the child but the teenagers weren't listening. They took the baby away, leaving what seemed to be a church, and as quick as lighting, the adult witch slitted Hayley's throat.
Bonnie's eyes returned to their normal irises and she fell to the floor, holding the soil as the pain faded. She quickly recovered, managing to stand on her feet once more.
Kai was up ahead, stumbling into the old beat-up-looking shack. There was a river right behind it but Kai didn't waste time and barged in, the door nearly falling from its hinges. Thankfully, Hayley was above a bed, glancing out the window when he entered. "Time to go," Kai declared boldly, charging for her. He stopped when a jet black wolf stepped in his path, growling in a threatening manner.
Hayley slid off the bed. "Kai. What are you doing here, where's Bonnie?"
Kai didn't bother responding, giving a pointed glare to the animal. "No time, we need to leave right now." The wolf didn't seem to agree with the statement and lunged for Kai. He quickly whispered a spell and the wolf fell back, wounded.
"Hey," Hayley's eyes widened as she watched the wolf whimper in pain in the corner. She was so focused on the animal, she didn't notice Kai reach for her until it was too late. "Kai, wait--"
"Somnum." Hayley was cut off, falling right into Kai's arms as he put her to sleep. He tossed her over his shoulder and marched out, making his way back out the way he came in. "My bad, Hayley Bayley, but BonBon is out there suffering because of you so forgive me if I return the favor."

"If you torture me, I'll get mad, and then I won't want to help you. What kind of person needs to have that explained to them?"
