"Realis originis," Valerie chanted alongside her sisters. "Realis originis."

Kai and Bonnie were at the corners of the room while the others waited just outside the door. He leaned down and asked her, "So what are they doing?"

"Trying to determine if Tyler is the dad."

"Why? Is Hayley a known whore or something?" Kai questioned genuinely.

"I can hear you, you dick," the werewolf hissed at the table she was laying on.

Nora strayed from the spell, whispering into the room. "She needs to remain calm, keep your insults to yourself."

Kai couldn't help but snicker and one glare from Bonnie had him calm down. Bonnie shook her head in disbelief, swaying on her feet a bit. The exhaustion was starting to hit her again.

All of a sudden, every piece of glass shattered in the room, the lights flickering off. The Heretics jumped back, shocked. Kai lit a candle that shone in the room. Hayley was now propped on her shoulders, concerned. "What happened?"

The door started to pound. "Is everything alright in there?"

Valerie swallowed. "It's true."

"What's true? Tyler is the father, right?" Hayley looked between the witches for confirmation.

"Tyler Lockwood is not the father of this child," Mary Lou stated.

Hayley's eyes widened, and her head snapped to the door. She feared Tyler himself heard. Bonnie approached the table, holding out a sage candle. "They can hear noises and voices but not what we're saying."

"But--but Tyler is the only one that I've been with," Hayley panted, trying to slide off the table. Her feet were swung over the edge.

"Who were you with before him?" Nora demanded.

"Why?"

"Because this child is not natural in any form. I can't pinpoint why but it's outside the barriers of our magic."

"I was with Klaus Mikaelson," Hayley truthfully answered.

*

"It makes sense now," Bonnie said as the room stirred with empty thoughts. "The child is a loophole. Klaus is a vampire, he's not meant to create but he did. That's why Rayna is coming."

"What?" Hayley gasped, her hand flying to her stomach. "Who's Rayna? And this can't be Klaus's kid, it's Tyler's. Klaus is a vampire, there's no chance that he can make a child."

"Did you use protection?" Valerie questioned.

"Again, he's a vampire, there's no need for that when it's not going to happen."

Bonnie swallowed. "Klaus is also half werewolf. Werewolves can definitely make babies. Chances are that since you're a werewolf and he's a part one too, those two sides came together to make this child."

"How's that remotely possible--"

"But it is possible," Mary Lou said.

"We need to get you somewhere safe until we can figure all this out," Valerie assured, holding a hand out for the wolf.

"Am I the only one thinking rationally here?" Kai's voice brought attention to his being. "With this miracle baby as a distraction to Rayna and the laws of magic, there won't be much focus on Bonnie. If anything, she is a loophole too."

"Are you serious right now?" Bonnie scoffed.

"I have a point," he shrugged. "All we have to do is let Rayna play with Hayley and then figure out how to minimize these psychic powers that prevent you from sleeping."

"It's not that easy. Since the psychic abilities are connected to the black magic, tampering with the effects of its departure might harm Bonnie in the way we feared," Valerie warned.

"And it's a child, that's the obvious reason, right?" Bonnie shook her head. "We need to help Hayley." Even though the child could sever the relationship Caroline had with Klaus.

Hayley herself was having a mini panic attack, gazing at her flat stomach. She was having a mini Klaus. Tyler would hate her forever. Not only would his hope of being a father shatter, it'll also pass more hate onto the man who destroyed his life. And Hayley never told him about the night with Klaus. She hated herself when she spoke out, "We...can kill the kid before this Rayna comes. Tyler never knows, we can say it was a mistake or the spell killed the child somehow or something. Problems solved."

"Hayley--" Bonnie reached for her.

She flinched back abruptly. "No. If I'm having a child, it's going to be with Tyler. Not with a no-good half-vampire. If I have this miracle baby, my life will be a survival course. Do you know how many enemies the Mikaelson's have?"

"She has a point," Kai added, pissing Bonnie off even more.

"Sleep on it, in the morning you'll make the final decision for yourself. But think, Hayley. This choice doesn't come twice."

The wolf nodded, finally jumping off the table. She glanced at the witches and smiled a bit. "Thank you for the help." When she opened the door, Tyler stood there, Stefan lingering back.

"It's confirmed? I'm the dad," Tyler asked.

"Of course," she smiled and the witches in the room averted their eyes discreetly.

Bonnie truly hoped the girl would make the proper choice even though it wasn't up to her to decide. Kai tried to comfort her, feeling the tension in his partner. "Okay, now can we figure out the whole sleeping problem?"

Finally, Bonnie and Caroline were left alone, the rest trying to ward off the town for the incoming attacks. "Are you okay?" That was the first thing her best friend asked. "I can make cookies? Or find some sort of energy pill, if that'll even work on you."

"I'm fine, Caroline," she chuckled. "How's Klaus?"

"Still in New Orleans. We talked a while ago."

"Is he still on that problem about a witch trying to ruin his life?"

"Yes. And the crazy thing is, apparently this witch is saying Klaus has a child in the world." Bonnie's eyes nearly jumped out of their sockets and Caroline misunderstood the reaction. "I know, right? It's not possible, he's a vampire for godsakes. I swear these witches are getting stupider by the day. By which, I don't mean you. I mean the Heretics who annoy the living daylights out of me. Especially Nora. I kind of think she is trying to replace my role as your best friend but I know you'll never replace me. Oh and Kai, even though he's not technically a proper witch. Such a dick. What is going on with you two anyway? We all know you guys have been cozying up but nobody wants to actually point it out while you're still weak. Not the weak weak, the weak where you're too tired."

"Caroline, slow down." Bonnie sat up straight, mind racing. "What exactly did this witch say?"

"Well, Elijah is over there with him. But she said that this child would bring chaos because it's an origin from a werewolf, a vampire and witch. Werewolf and vampire because Klaus is a hybrid and a witch because his mother was the Original Witch."

Bonnie opened her mouth to respond but her phone pinged. It was a message from Damon. Rayna is in town. We need to find Hayley.
