He couldn't dodge this one, the first chunk piercing his abdomen and Kai grunted in slight pain. The second piece missed effortlessly, landing right above his head. He was taken aback by the magic, mind trying to piece together how it was possible. Bonnie didn't give him a chance to stress out his options and Kai couldn't move, the large wooden dart pinning him to the wall.

She grabbed the sides of his head, hands encasing it like a crown and stared into his eyes as she said, "Confractus animo."

Something jolted in his chest and Kai tried to contain his next shout of pain, closing his eyes at the wave of agony. "Bonnie--"

"Confractus animo," she chanted and his heart strained again, tightening to a point where he thought it was going to explode, break, shatter.

She knew that if she said it one more time, Kai would die at her hands. Bonnie wanted to make him pay, make him suffer for all the chaos he had brought with his name. And she knew she was going to do it, kill the almighty Kai Parker. Until his voice pleaded, "I'll be good for you, BonBon. But please don't kill me."

Bonnie faltered, taking in exactly what he was saying. Kai still had magic. He could even siphon it off her right now so Bonnie wondered why he wasn't doing it. It never stopped him before, he only keeps taking and taking. So why isn't he defending himself?! Her heart seemed to whisper its answer, Because he loves you. It made Bonnie scared and angry at the same time. So she let her mind make the decision. "Confra--"

It was all stopped by the sudden pull on Bonnie's back. It was nearly impossible to catch the light of what was happening until Klaus stood there. "This bastard will suffer at my hand before you kill him, Bonnie Bennett."

Bonnie growled, taking a step forward. Kai was panting, head duck low as his mind raced. She was going to kill me. That was the only thing that flashed in his head. Before Bonnie could push Klaus aside to finish her job, Rebekah flitted in front of her. A new sort of emotion submerged and it took Bonnie a while to get accustomed to it. She'd always believed that it was Rebekah who killed Elena and those feelings of hatred were still there. But Bonnie contained it, trying to reign in all her anger, to save for later.

"We're taking control now," Rebekah declared.

It was painful what Bonnie was feeling when she arrived home. It was like electricity had driven her there, far away from all the commotion that was happening at the Salvatore Mansion, revolving all around Elena, the little twins, Kai himself.

Bonnie was receiving many notifications from Caroline, trying to find her whereabouts but Bonnie knew she knew. When she was ready, she would go say her goodbyes. But right now...she wanted to talk to Enzo. She didn't know how, she didn't know why but even though all her good memories about him were gone, her heart still somehow searched for him.

With all the magic in her, the Bennett Bloodline, she wasn't sure anything was impossible. Bonnie scavenged the house, pulling out candles, lighters, paper and a knife. She placed the wax in a circle, eventually retrieving Gram's grimoire. She sat in the center, taking a deep breath. Moments ago, she put up a barrier. Although Kai was under the supervision and torture of Klaus, Bonnie wouldn't put anything past him. And his first location would be to her.

She rubbed her thighs, trying to bring back all the energy she had spent on Kai. Bonnie opened the book, flipping to her targeting page. She positioned it in front of her, later cutting her palm smoothly with a knife. In the center, you could see the faint scars of her previous cut that was required for her last spell. Sometimes, Bonnie forgot she was human, that not all her wounds heal as quickly.
