Nora was an expert in torture, it seemed. All three of them spent the night plotting on how they were going to get back at Kai. By now, the twins should be home and Elena should be awake. Bonnie didn't know if she wanted to go back to the town to check.
Mary Louise had led them to what she said was a stash of Dark Instruments. "Lily always tried to hide them from us but we're not amateurs. When your mother says no, the thrill of curiosity is deadly," she explained over her shoulder, looking between columns of the abandoned warehouse.
Bonnie and Nora stayed side by side, slowly keeping up with Mary Louise's quick pace. "How is Valerie? Or is she dead?"
"She's doing good...I think. Last I heard of her, she was exploring the world of magic or something like that. Although once she hears you guys are back, she'll probably return," Bonnie explained.
Mary Louise cackled, raw amusement on her painted red lips. "I highly doubt that. Valerie hates us."
"No, she doesn't," Nora scoffed.
"Remember when we mocked her for turning her boyfriend into a vampire to live forever with her? She ran away and gave us a letter to pass to Lily. We never did. She came back weeks, her partner running off. She expected everyone to be devastated from her departure but nobody even knew she was gone," Mary Louise scoffed.
"That was harsh. You're right, she hates us." Nora caved in, giggling later. "She was so angry at us."
"Found it." Mary Louise bent over, looking into a large box, pulling out large heavy chains.
Bonnie narrowed her eyes as Mary Louise dumped them at her feet. "What's this?"
"Nullifying shackles. Self-explanatory, nullifies magic. Highly dangerous, the longer you're encased by them, the more it starts to rip through your mental walls. At some point, Lily would use them to break into a strong mind but Julian told her to put it away." She placed her hands on her hips. "Wrap this around Kai and you'll be good to finish the rest."
"One issue. I told him I never want to see him again and he already suspects that I'm going to make a comeback. If I randomly knock at his door, he'll see this coming by miles," Bonnie shook her head.
"There's another solution," Nora pondered, deep in thought before she smiled to herself. "What do we know about Kai?"
Bonnie snorted. "He's a sociopath."
"He's also in love with you," she concluded. Bonnie shook her head, prepared to deny all the claims. "It's clear after all you've told us. It's broken love but it's there. We can use this to our advantage and make him believe you're dying. Like a lost pup, he'll come running back. Right into our trap."
Mary Louise grinned, kissing her girlfriend on the cheek. "You're quite sinister, Nora."
"Don't be ridiculous, it's why you love me," she laughed, glancing back at Bonnie for her approval. "Are you in?"
Bonnie's eyes lingered on the chains before she brought them to Nora and Mary Louise's. "Of course. Let's get rid of him."

The plan was set out perfectly and it all came down to the final touches. "Okay, we're ready."
Bonnie nodded, staring at the bar. It wasn't as crowded but most of the people had blood dripping from their necks, courtesy of both Heretics. Apparently returning from death, twice, brought on an insatiable amount of hunger. "Dial him."
She did, placing the cell to her ear and waited. Mary Louise paced a bit and when she halted all of a sudden, Bonnie knew he had picked up. "Kai Parker. We haven't had the pleasantries to meet face to face yet." He was on speaker.
"Who's this?"
Nora took the cell from her, wiping her blood lips. "I find it quite disrespectful that you didn't give us a chance to thank you after you brought us back from the dead."
"What are you doing with Bonnie's phone?"
"Why don't you ask her yourself?"
Nora held the phone out for Bonnie as Mary Louise gripped her neck. Bonnie grunted painfully at the grasp, choking loudly. "Kai--" She croaked.
Nora chuckled. "Oh that's right, she's a tad preoccupied at the moment. I'm having a bit of fun, though. Aren't you, Mary Louise?"
"It's been a while since I've heard a witch squeal," she answered, tightening her grip to a point where Bonnie wondered if she was actually faking it.
"If you hurt her, I will--"
"Why don't come here and tell me what you're going to do?" Nora questioned sweetly before hanging up abruptly.
With that, Mary Louise let go of Bonnie. She gasped, gripping her neck. Bonnie narrowed her eyes at her. "You seemed to be enjoying that a bit too much."
"Don't concern yourself about it, Bonnie. Us witch sisters must help each other out, am I wrong?" Nora tossed the phone away, reaching for a tequila shot. She threw it back casually.
Bonnie chuckled at that. "Except that's not the case with you."
"You can trust us, don't worry," Mary Louise winked and Bonnie felt chills ran down her spine. This was what Kai had done. Broken any instinct to trust someone else.
It didn't take long for him to arrive, throwing the door open viscously. "Nora." She didn't respond, both her and Mary Louise spelling the bar shut so he couldn't leave. It was so airtight that he wouldn't be able to siphon the magic away. "What is this?" He demanded, taking in the chanting witches and the dead human bodies in the quiet bar. His eyes finally fell to Bonnie's.
Bonnie sat crossed-legged on the stool, finishing the last sips of her margarita. "Hi, Kai." He clicked the pieces together quickly, hands raised already. But Bonnie reacted much quicker, mumbling under her breath. "Spiralibus metallum." The heavy chains wrapped around him, tightening at his side.
"Occidere," he said to the two Heretics but nothing happened. Kai's eyes scrunched in confusion and Nora and Mary Louise finally finished their spell. Together, they charged for Kai with their vampire speed. With his body coated with the nullification shackles, there wasn't much he could do. They both grabbed the chains, pulling him to a chair at the podium of the karaoke stage. Bonnie followed after them, watching as they pinned and chained him even more.
Once their work was done, they stepped back, turning to Bonnie. "He's all yours."
