The moment was unravelling so fast, it took a long time for Bonnie to properly register what was happening. The tearing of flesh and Stefan's angry words sang around her, blending into each other like the crescendo of a song. Bonnie couldn't piece the sentences properly but she heard the words, your fault, you killed her, Elena.

All the shouts and commotion were so overwhelming that she inhaled deeply, letting out a shattering scream of all the emotions that were stirring in her mind. Agony, pain, loss, longness, despair, helplessness, exhaustion, confusion. All of them exploded out her scream one by one like soldiers on a mission to fight. The cry was so intensified, the room, the house, the town began to tremble. It was as if some sort of energy has formed within the mass of her being, splitting at the ends. Stefan flew off Kai, slamming into the wall with a thud, the two other males following as well. The room was now thrashed as Bonnie pulled her voice back in, panting. She took one deep breath and blinked.

She felt the beat of her restless heart, slowly falter. It was as if things finally quieted, muting out everything except the padump, padump, padump of her bleeding heart. Before Bonnie could speak, before Caroline and Ric who were catching up behind her could speak, the world in Bonnie's vision blurred. It all then snuffed out, Bonnie collapsing on the floor.

Bonnie woke in the dark, some sort of light above her shining down on her. There was only a ring of light on her but everything outside the circle was dark. She glanced around, slight chills and goosebumps growing on her arms. Eventually, a figure stepped into the light and Bonnie flinched back. But when she realized it was only her grandmother, her frightened features formed into happiness. "Grams." She smiled brightly, holding her hands out.

The senior did not return the smile, not leaning in for the gesture."Bon," Grams used a tone Bonnie was too familiar with. Bonnie knew that this was when the woman was going to serve speeches. "What are you doing with that boy." It was posed as a demand, not a question.

Bonnie cocked her head to the side. Until she realized she was talking about Kai. Bonnie then looked around them once more, wondering how through the darkness her grandmother knew about what went on in her life. "I..."

Grams reached out, grabbing hold of her arm. "He's poison, Bon. I thought I taught you the differences with people who will aim to manipulate a young, beautiful soul like yours."

Bonnie shrugged out her tight controlling grip. "He's...Kai's not manipulating me. He's protecting me. He's one of the few who are still doing that after you and Elena left." Bonnie admitted to herself that during the time Kai had held her captive...it was refreshing not having to worry about her other friends and whether they were alright. It sounded terrible but Bonnie knew that their problems were the root of her stress.

Grams chuckled coldly, the mock echoing in the dark. "He's already blinded you, child. He killed Elena. He took away one of your most cherished memories for his own pleasure. The memories that helped you build yourself into a much stronger, intelligent woman than you are now. And now he has you under his thumb."

Bonnie swallowed, shaking her head frantically. Kai didn't kill Elena, she thought. Rebekah Mikaelson killed her, ripped her head right off. I remember because we had to find someone to painfully sew it back on for the funeral. Kai...he didn't kill Elena. He would have told me. "No. That is false."

Grams only sighed, reaching between the fold of her dress to pull out Miss Cuddles. "Put the situation on paper, Bon. It'll be much bolder. But this," She held the teddy out to Bonnie. "Your magic will always be yours. Nobody can take it away, nobody. Bennett witches don't let no skanky ass supernaturals walk over them like dirt, Bon. Always remember that."
