"So what now?" Kathrine said as she twirled the margarita in her hand. Sybil had blended into the crowd with Bonnie, both of them dancing sultrily with the strangers.
Kai leaned back as he watched her hips move lustfully to the music. "Sybil wants to enjoy herself before the Debbie downers arrive."
Kathrine rolled her eyes. "Damon."
"And Stefan, Valerie, Caroline, Matt, Ric, Jo, and Jeremy," Kai sighed.
"What about Elena?" Kathrine turned to him, genuinely curious about what her sad doppelgänger was doing.
Kai took a sip of his drink, chewing at the straw. Bonnie and Sybil found themselves on the dance floor and were swaying with each other. "Dead."
Kathrine's eyes widened, and she sputtered. "There is no way Damon let her die."
Kai chuckled, letting his eyes finally wander to the she-devil. "Let's just say I got tired of hearing her cry."
She registered what he was saying, later settling back into her seat. Her gaze wandered back to Sybil. "I suddenly like you more."
Kai didn't smile and stated, "Sybil listens to you."
"We're the baddest bitches, we got to get along." Kathrine chuckled, crossing her legs.
"I need a favour. You owe me since I took care of your competition. Now Damon is single."
Katherine sighed and drawled. "What do you want?"
"I want you to ask Sybil to wipe any existence of Elena in Bonnie's mind. Killing her best friend might have caused more damage than I intended. And Enzo as well. As long as she lives, I should be the only man she is thinking about."
Kathrine remained neutral. "Having the hots for the Bennett Witch? I hate to admit this but Bonnie is a force to be reckoned with."
Kai slammed his drink onto the counter, rising from his seat. "Fire is something I can handle." That was all he said before he slipped himself onto the dance floor.
Bonnie rocked with the beat, Sybil disappearing with some man to a corner. The music was slow, a teasing vibe to every man on the floor. She knew she had curves, a body that most men craved for. Bonnie lost herself to the music, her hair swinging along with her. Everything felt lost but found at the same time. Things felt found when large hands closed around her waist.
She didn't know why she didn't suffocate the life out of a man who touched her. It felt almost...safe. Her body had a mind of its own as it entwined itself with his. Soon, it was like ice to the flame, a dangerous banter yet playful symphony. She felt herself melt into his arms and the urge of lust ran through her blood. Bonnie quickly turned, Kai's face dangerously close to hers. She wasn't shocked. Only desperate.
Bonnie grabbed his face, pulling him down to her lips. It was like heaven and hell had crashed, tsunamis and earthquakes following after. It was numb, as if things weren't real, as if a part of her didn't want this. But Bonnie didn't care. She was lonely and Enzo was gone. Kai slowly sprang out the quick kiss, the trails of wrongness on each of their lips. Even Kai saw it, it was mirrored in his eyes. Soon, the warmth of his arms left and he faded into the crowd. Bonnie let him go, the music calling her back to oblivion.

"Where's Kai?' Sybil asked as Kathrine entered the room. A man was perched below her and she was in her undergarments. Only she wasn't playing with the human, she was feeding on him.
"He just took a break from the dance floor, I saw him leave on my way here," Kathrine answered, crossing her arms.
"What's wrong?" Sybil asked, pushing off from the body. She wiped her bloody face and turned to Kathrine. "Are you not glad that we are reunited?"
"Of course I am," Kathrine sighed. "But I do have a request."
Sybil cocked her head. "Tell me."
Kathrine paced around the room, taking in the posh colours and furniture. "It might sound terrible at first but here me out. With Elena dead, a lot of opportunities have opened up for me between the Salvatore brothers. Damon's broken and it would be incredible if I swooped in to lick his wounds. Things will lead to another and he will fall for me. Again. Let's not forget, I have Elena's face, it won't be that hard."
"Except...Damon's human."
Kathrine hesitated, twitching her lip. She shrugged. "Fine, then I'll go for Stefan."
"Stefan? Stefan, the one who made the choice to sleep forever, leaving his friends behind rather than to let you breathe in this world?"
Kathrine bit her lip. "Just let me go to Mystic Falls, get them to put down their pitchforks, then the real fun will begin."
"I suppose this means you don't want me to kill them." Sybil looked baffled. "After they locked me in the vault again?"
"With all due time." Kathrine approached her friend, toying with her hair. "Plus, you don't want those idiots to think you're an uncontrolled monster. You gotta wait it out, let them become paranoid with your silence."
Sybil broke, shaking her head. "You better be right."
"I always am," she grinned and added, "Kai wants you to do something for him."

Kai didn't just take a step outside the club. He drove back to Mystic Falls as quickly as he could. Bonnie was all he could think about as he gripped the wheel. She had kissed him and in every world, it felt wrong. It felt unflavoured, unBonnie Bennett and he hated it. Kai couldn't recognize the witch he had somehow grown attached to and he did not like it one bit. Which was what made him realize that he needed to change that as soon as possible.
Kai knew that eventually, Sybil will sense him trying to get away from her mental walls. Which pushed him to gas the peddle. He knew that Sybil had to go, it was the only way for Bonnie to return to her true state. And what better way to do that than to go to the people who cared most about her?
We're on our way to Mystic Falls, wherever you are, go there. Sybil's voice rang in his own mind, instructing him. I took care of Bonnie's memories.
Kai smiled, switching the music on.
