Bonnie sighed deeply, giving in to the proposal. If you ever knew a Mikaelson, you'd know that the word of Elijah was almost pure, as well as deadly. "I believe that but I can't help you. I cast a spell on Hayley so that no locator spell can be performed on her. Not even mine, for safety precautions of course."

Elijah calmly turned around, nodding to the witch in front of him. "I appreciate that. Your devotion to this child will be remembered, Bonnie. It's good to know that I have a Bennett witch at my side in moments like these because as you know, every being is out for this baby. It is our responsibility to ensure its survival before things turn out for the worst." Bonnie understood that he was trying to mend an alliance in the most ethical way. Elijah smiled, snapping his fingers twice.

At that moment, Marcel walked back in, with a deep frown. "I'm not a lackey for you to call on, Elijah. We only have a common objective and after that, you and I both know that you'll return to Klaus, as screwed up as he is now," he rolled his eyes and beckoned to someone behind him. "Come on in, buddy."

There was a faint shuffle but eventually, Kai stumbled into the room, his wrists blistering red with signs of tight bounding. His face was slightly bruised, an open wound on his lip dripping blood unto his shirt. Kai looked like he was sweating from the effort and there was a slight limp when he trudged towards Bonnie. Her heart accelerated and slowed at the same time, embracing him in a longing hug. She stood on her tippy toes, latching her hands around his neck. "Oh my god."

Kai returned the sentiment, wrapping his hands around her waist and pulled her to him. They were silent, completely aware that their beating hearts were registered by the two other men in the room. As her head sunk in the crook of his neck, she opened her eyes, gaze landing on Marcel. He was grinning wildly, satisfied that he had found her weakness. In her eyes, Bonnie promised to bring him suffering. He's clearly never met a Bennett witch.

"Marcel, we've got a hit," another man walked in, blood tainting his side and glass littering his clothing. "The girl is near the Bayou."

"Whoa, Thierry, what the hell happened to you?" Marcel asked with concern, regarding his friend with shock. "Don't tell me a pregnant woman turned your ass upside down."

"The bitch freaking ran me over like I was roadkill," he snarled, wincing as he adjusted himself. Thierry wiped his mouth, blood staining his fingers.

"You will not," Elijah said tranquilly from the back, flicking imaginary dirt from his suit. "Insult the mother of my niece in such a manner, Thierry Vanchure." It was a threat if you ever heard one.

Marcel narrowed his eyes, taking slow steps towards the Original. "Hey, we're on the same side."

"That may be true but after we're done here, I do not want to remember your little friend's name. I do not want to find him and put his body through a meat grinder because by then, our alliance will be broken, Marcel. Keep your men in check." Elijah cracked a grin, similar to Marcel's and brushed past him. He gave a promising wink to Thierry before walking out.

Marcel tucked his lips in, containing his rain of curses before he turned to Thierry. "Okay, round up the guys, the werewolves are out there. As far as we're aware, these packs are the only ones we have trouble with. The Were's have always been difficult with following my rules but this will be the first time we're crossing their territory unprovoked. I want this quick. Grab the girl, and bring her to the place we talked about. I want you and Diego leading this hunt."

Bonnie broke away from Kai, cocking her head to the side. "Hunt? You're planning on hunting down wolves? Don't you understand that if a wolf is protecting a woman, a pregnant one, it's not going to sit down and have tea with you? One bite kills your vampires and I doubt Klaus will be too happy gifting his blood to you. Christmas just passed."

Marcel crossed his arms, taunting her. "Oh, really? What do you suggest we do then?"

"It's easy," Kai scoffed, shaking his head. "Bonnie and I go in and take her back because Hayley trusts us more than any of you."

"I have a better plan. We send you two in to get the girl while we take care of the collateral damage. It's about time we deal with those mutts down at the Bayou," Thierry muttered, the gash to his side nearly gone from his healing.

Marcel nodded smugly, agreeing with the plan. "Killing to birds with one stone. Get moving, T," he praised. The man walked out with his speed, leaving Marcel and the two witches in the room. He turned to them, silent before speaking up, "I really did mean it, now that you're helping us, your stay in the city will be well suited."

To that Kai, chuckled, raising his bloody hands in view. As he brought attention to himself, they all watched as he healed himself rapidly, skin knitting back together. "Funny way of showing that. You know, I thought that I should leave you a little gift. In my time in your little...what was it...greenhouse? I found out that not only were you punishing me, but you were also punishing those vampires. So I, you know, mingled a little with my magic and gave them some of my blood kindly, no force required. Kind of stupid of you to assume that even though they had the opportunity to leave, they'd stay loyal to you and serve their 'sentence'. A couple of words from me, a couple of daylight rings later and poof, they were at my beck and call. You really need to get that checked out, you never know when someone will ditch you for the next best thing. And that's me, in case you're getting confused." In his time locked up, Kai had managed to make peace with the prisoners and bargained, earning a win-win on both sides. The only reason why he was beaten up was because Diego had given him a couple of rounds of assaults, to draw blood for the vampires, before tossing him in the Garden.

"What the hell did you do?" Marcel's eyes crackled, deadly veins under his red-raged eyes.

Kai shrugged, turning to Bonnie with a coy smirk. "Oh, nothing big really. I just let loose some angry vampires into this comforting city you love so much." With that, Marcel tried to flit forward towards Kai but the witch could see it from a mile away, practically predicting the attack. He flicked his wrist and Marcel's legs twisted. Bonnie wasn't against what was happening in front of her but she turned to Kai with a warning. Angry vampires meant hungry vampires and that meant innocent lives would be lost. Kai winked, completely aware of this. "But, I'm such a nice guy and I knew that my lovely girl would carve my eyes out and shove them up my ass if she entered a shopping mall and there were no clerks to help her. So instead, I reprogrammed a couple of things and tada...vampires eating vampires. Sort of kinky if you think about it."

Bonnie took a deep breath, muttering under her breath. Marcel's neck snapped and he finally dropped to the floor. Bonnie walked over his unconscious body, Kai following gladly behind her as she muttered, "I'm so not finished with this guy."

"But now I'm a little unfamiliar with vampires, but from what I've gathered, a stake in the heart should do it, right?"
