Bonnie turned to Klaus with a grim face. "I have news."
Klaus sighed, pouring himself a glass of bourbon. "Do tell."
"This one...is revealing." She sat on the couch, clearing her throat. "After everything that went down with the prophecy and the witches, we were wondering why the spell didn't go through. So I had a vision—"
"Another vision?" Klaus's neck snapped to her with immediate alert.
"Not one that promised death or suffering. The vision told me..." Bonnie stood up and began pacing around, trying to figure out how she was going to structure the sentence. "That you have another sister."
Klaus blinked at her. Blinked again. And laughed. He shook his head, throwing the bourbon down his throat. "That is hilarious, Bonnie."
Just as he said this, Elijah walked in, hands in pockets. "Where's Hayley?" With the vibe in the air, he pierced it up. "Ah, I see." His eyes dropped with sorrow and misery but it wiped away quickly.
"Get a load of this, brother. Bonnie tells me that we have a lost sister in this world." Elijah only cocked his head aside, lost in thought. The silence must have meant something to Klaus because he slammed the glass down and barged to his brother. "Elijah," he seethed. "Please tell me that it is not true."
Elijah shrugged slightly. "I remember as a child hearing mother arguing with father about giving up something of value, a being that should have been peppered with love. The memory is extremely blurry but she did mention that..."
"What did she say?" Bonnie said, prompting him to continue.
"That the price to make us truly immortal was to sacrifice an essence of true love."
Klaus scoffed. "Mother isn't sinister enough to bargain her own child for the price of the others."
"Something must be missing, the memory itself is broken so it's not reliable. But with the news of a sister in play, it's not entirely impossible," Elijah concluded.
"And the vision practically told me she is still alive," Bonnie said.
"If this is indeed true..." Elijah trailed off.
"We must find her," Rebekah finished, walking into the threshold of the room, overhearing the entire conversation.

Days ticked, weeks flew, even months dripped by. Bonnie gave Rebekah Nora and Mary Louise's contact so that she had a better chance of finding the missing Mikaelson. Rebekah has been on the hunt for more than half a year, with no luck. Klaus ruled in the Quarter, as he once wished, building himself an elite member of trusted and loyal individuals, with Elijah as his right hand. They bought the mansion at the crown of the city as promised, leaving Hope out of all and any fatalities. Bonnie stayed at home with Hope, babysitting and watching out for her own massive belly. Hayley spent most time with her daughter but on others, she'd be with Jackson. Their relationship was progressing steadily and healthy. Kai was working with Klaus to recruit a group of trustworthy witches from the Treme, who only declined the offer repeatedly.
Bonnie trudged to the living room, holding her belly as she wobbled down to the couch. She expelled a loud sigh, leaning back into the chair. And she screamed, "Hope." The little pitter-patter of feet only made her headache grow and Bonnie groaned. The toddler emerged in the doorway, holding a teacup in hand. She handed Bonnie the cup, half of the contents gone. "Thank you Hope but I told you not to run, now all the tea is gone."
Hope jumped throughout the living room, picking up her toy cars and superheroes, flying them around. "Sorry," was all she said and continued to make fighting noises. She wasn't very verbal, Hope usually responded with one-word answers and then ignored the person.
