Elijah entered the room casually, to find Klaus discussing with Father Kierran. He cleared his throat, bringing attention towards him. "Bonnie has the vampires looking for a weapon that will help kill the child. Rebekah has momentarily left town to retrieve something of value to me."

"And Hayley?" Klaus asked, arms tucked behind his back.

"Enjoying the company of the wolves. It's come to my attention that...Jackson is the Alpha of the pack Hayley was separated from when her parents were assassinated." Elijah examined the tension in the room. "But I sense that this news is much lighter than what you two were discussing."

Father Kierran turned to both brothers. "There is a girl. Clary. She claims that she knows how to disable the witch's upper hand on their Initial Conjuration. Giving us an opening."

"But?"

"She's a New Orleans witch," Klaus sighed deeply.

"We cannot trust them in the slightest, Niklaus," Elijah said effectively. "This could be a ploy—"

"I have no choice but to consider this option. What if she is truthful? What if this is an opportunity to swiftly deal with these insubordinates?" Klaus levelled.

"Niklaus—"

"Elijah. I've made the decision to meet with the witch. You have nothing to worry about, I'll be careful. The situation is controlled and final," Klaus concluded and didn't even wait for Elijah to say anything else and barged out of the room.

Leaving both men alone. Elijah patiently took a step towards the priest with a slight smile. "If anything were to endanger our attempts to reconstruct the city involving that girl, I will put a target on your back. I am sure there are many...creative ways a son of the devil could enact on the brothers of God." Elijah patted Father Kierran's shoulder to empathize.

Kierran swallowed, brushing the touch away.

Davina was looking for Kai. They hadn't spoken since they found methods to disconnect Marcel from Klaus's bloodline. She was working on it and she needed a witch-like him to track Marcel down to do the spell. She couldn't wait until after the battle.

So she quickly did a locator spell on him and tracked him down to a low-budget building downtown. She was so invested in finding the building on the street that she accidentally bumped into a boy in the crowd. "Sorry," she muttered automatically.

The boy was tall, hair curly and eyes big and brown. "My bad, I wasn't looking—" he froze once her took in her features. Davina swallowed, realizing he was a vampire. "You're Davina," he declared.

"What about it?" She asked defensively.

He quickly responded, "Oh, nothing. Just that everyone has been talking about you and I didn't think that I would randomly bump into you. Anyways, I'm Josh. I don't suppose anyone has been talking about me so..."

He kept rambling and Davina forced herself to step in. "Look Josh, it was nice meeting you but I actually have to go, okay?"

"Oh. Okay," he chuckled nervously. But then his ears perked up with attention and his face crinkled into confusion. "That's funny."

"What?" She asked, intrigued by what suddenly caught his attention.

"Someone is actually talking about you," Josh said followed by a shrug. "Or there is another Davina on this street."

"Who's talking about me?"

"A man and a woman...they are saying...." Josh listened carefully, reciting what he could gather from the conversation. "Something about a deal? About some baby and somebody called Bonnie?" That must be Kai and Sophie, Davina thought. "The girl is asking...what he plans to do with you. He's saying..."
