Brooklyn~
"Oh, you got it cleared out?" Jordan says coming into our space and looks around. "
Hey, it's nice to see you. Yeah, Christian and I came last night and went through everything. Everything is already in the inventory and should be set to go," I say and quickly hug him.
"I wanted to ask you if you knew if there's a new trainer. I asked but they didn't really tell me much," he says and walks around looking through the cabinets.
"I know nothing. I wasn't sure if it was a done deal or if they were still looking."
"I guess we'll find out soon," he says and I nod in agreement, "Also, congrats on getting engaged. Yeli got lucky," I smile, "Thank you."
"The guys should be in soon. I'll be in my office going over reports if you need me." I sit down and look through some papers that are piled on my desk. I sigh and start looking over them.
I don't know how long it's been but I start hearing some of the guys come in. There's a small knock on my door, I turn around and see Christian and Ryan walking in. When aren't those two together?
They have team workouts for the next few days. Next week they would start their games. "What do you guys need?" I sit further back in my chair and wait for their response.
"Nothing, we just wanted to come and bother you," Ryan says and I roll my eyes, "I didn't want to bother you. But I thought I would tag along," Christian adds.
"You two are something else."
"What are you working on?" Ryan asks me as I stand up and look out the door to see if anyone has come in, besides the two doorknobs who are already in here. I turn around, "Injury reports and physical evaluations."
"Can I suggest something?" he asks and Christian sits down in my seat and watches our interaction.
"Don't strain yourself."
"Why don't you guys hire another trainer? That way you aren't suffocated with work," he tells me.
"That's being discussed right now. They're looking at hiring somebody new. I'm not sure if it'll go through."
"Don't you get a say?"
"Not really how it works, although I wish it was," I laugh, "They can hire another trainer or physical therapist anytime they want. I can suggest to David and Mark to possibly look at hiring someone new, but that doesn't mean they'll go through with it. Yes, it would help Jordan and me out in the long run, but I can also see that they might not want to spend money on another trainer. Jordan and I get it done just fine. Yeah, there are some late nights, but we get through it."
"That's fair a statement."
"You just watching?" Christian says coming up next to me. "Yeah. I have nothing else to do, so I figured I'd watch you guys."
"You're just watching me though." He's not wrong.
I look over at him and smile, "You aren't wrong."
"Aren't you going with the girls to look at dresses for them tonight?"
"Yeah, Larisa, Jenny, and Stephanie. We're just gonna go look around. I'm not worried about Maggie. She can find a dress whenever. I don't want her thinking about this when she needs to keep that baby in there for a few more weeks."
"Have they picked a name?"
"I don't think so. I think they're waiting to see what she looks like and what would fit. Maggie's completely over being pregnant and wants to hold her baby," I tell him chuckling.
