Brooklyn~

I arrive home and wander into my apartment, throw my belongings near the door, and head to my shower. I love going out and all, but it takes your energy away. I also couldn't help escape in my mind that I actually met Christian Yelich.

Luckily, I start my first day of work tomorrow, for the Brewers, as their new Athletic Trainer. I recently graduated from Marquette University and decided I wanted to go big. I know it was somewhat risky, but I got the job and couldn't be more excited to work for my favorite team.

I get out of my shower and grab my phone, hoping Christian would've texted me.

Christian: Hey, I made it home. Hope you made it home safely too.

Christian: We should hang out sometime. :)
Christian: Unless, you don't want to.

Me: I made it home safely. Of course, we can hang out. I actually start my first real job tomorrow so after that can work

Christian: Sweet! Good luck. My game should get over by 6:30 and I could be out by 7:15, and we could go from there.

Me: Yeah of course. I'll see you around then. :)

It was the next morning and to say the least, I'm terrified to start my job. I'll be the first woman athletic trainer for the Brewers, and that's kind of intimidating. I just hope everything goes smoothly. I'm more than qualified for the job, but going into a male-dominated field is scary. It'll be hard and I know I'll face some adversities.

I arrive at Miller Park and get down into my office before the guys start coming in for treatments. I settled into my office, organizing my things; extra clothes, books, anything I would typically need. I already toured and met the other trainer's a few days ago.

I get called to the field to meet some of the staff that I would be working with. Scott, the head trainer introduced me to Craig Counsell, Brian Anderson, and Bill Schroeder.

I notice Christian by the cage getting ready to hit. I walk back to my office and get ready for the game. I see a few players and say hello.

Soon before the game starts, the same brown-eyed athlete walks into the trainer's room and sits on one of the beds.

I walk toward him and he looks up and is shocked to see me, "Didn't expect to see you so soon," he laughs.

"Well, I thought I would surprise you and not tell you about it," I chuckled.

"So this is your job? Fixing athletes?" I laugh at his description of my job.

"Well, if we're being technical, I'm supposed to heal and support athletes who are injured. Provide advice to heal quicker but on a safe level. Also, do all types of therapies to provide to you guys. So, yes, I fix athletes." I laugh and he nods his head showing that he understands what I'm saying and I can help him out.

I wrap his wrists in pre-wrap. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

He gets off of the bed and goes to leave as I clean up my area.

"This might be weird, but do you want to go out and get food after we're done here?"

"Sure, why not," I said smirking.

For it being my first game, the guys played amazing tonight. They won 7-2 against the Giants and to be completely honest, watching Christian play, was incredible. He had an amazing game, 3-4, a home run, a double, a single, a walk, and drove in 2 runs.

I finished up some paperwork before changing back into regular clothes to wait for Christian to come to find me or text me. Pretty soon I see him walk into the trainer's room and come near my office.

"Hey, you ready?"

"Yeah, let me just grab my bag and we can head out."

We head out and so lock my office and the trainer's room door before walking with Christian toward our cars. I put my stuff in my car and we went over to his car.

Christian grabbed the door for me, "Such a gentleman," I say earning a laugh from him.

"I try my best."

We settled on East Town Kitchen and Bar in downtown Milwaukee. We ate and had a few drinks. We got to know each other and learned about each other's lives. We finished up and made our way back to his car. "Do you want me to take you back to your car or I can just drop you off tonight and pick you up in the morning before our game," he asks starting his car.

"Um, could you just take me home? I'm sure I shouldn't drive. I'm just a little buzzed."

"Yeah, of course, put your address in my phone."

I grab his phone and put my address in before he backs out of the parking stall. "You know you actually live really close to me," he says with a slight smile. "Oh, I do? How far are you from here?"

"Not far, probably 10 minutes."

We arrive at my apartment's parking garage. "Are you sure you're okay enough to get home safely? I have a guest bedroom, or the couch... or my room," I say that last part quietly, hoping he doesn't hear me.

"Yeah, I'll be okay."

"Okay, just making sure," I slightly giggle and look at him.

Christian refused to let me walk to my apartment by myself. He walked me to my door and I unlocked it. We stood in the hallway and I make a quick decision and kiss him on the cheek and turn away and start to close the door. "Have a nice night."

"Wait, Brooklyn?"

"Yeah?" I turn hopefully not showing how red my face is.

"Um, when do you want me to pick you up?" I laugh a little. "Uh, whatever time you need to be there is fine. I don't have a specific time to be at the stadium."

"Okay, so how does 10:30 sound? We can pick up coffee, or tea. I'm not sure which one you drink."

I smile at his gesture, "10:30 works. Also, I drink iced coffee," I chuckled.

"Okay, I'll see you then."

"Goodnight, Christian."

"Goodnight, Brooklyn"

I opened my eyes at the sound of my alarm blaring right at my ear. I check the time and see it's 9:15. Shit, I need to get going. Christian is going to be here in an hour. I quickly rise from my bed and head to take a quick shower. As I'm showering, my thoughts drift to Christian last night. He was so nice and just flat-out amazing. I honestly couldn't wait to see him this morning.

I got out and got dressed and saw it was 10:00. I put together a bag and headed into my living room. I grab my phone and wait patiently for Christian to text me or knock at my door.

After what felt like an eternity, I heard a knock at my door. I open the door and see Chrisitan waiting outside. "You can come in, I'm just finishing up." He walks in and I went back to my room to finish putting on my jewelry.

I walk out looking for my shoes and see him laughing at me. "What are you laughing at?" I smile at him. "You. You look so flustered about finding your shoes. When I believe they are over there by the side table. I walk over to the side table and laugh as I see the shoes I needed.

"I'm ready," I say while putting on a light jacket.
