Brooklyn~

Still not feeling the best, but trying to push past it and enjoy this long-awaited vacation. I look out of the window in our room and can see my boys out playing in the water already. Kayden has loved every second of this trip, which makes me love it even more. Might as well go and join them. I quickly put on a random bandeau top and find some bottoms in my suitcase before heading out to the living room to grab my sun hat and sunglasses.

I start the walk out to the beach as I watch them play in the water. Those two are so cute and everything I've ever wanted.

Neither of them realize that I'm walking out to them as they splash some water around and Kayden picks up some seashells and rocks that were at one point buried in the sand. Kayden drops everything in his hands once he finally sees me and quickly makes his way over to me. "Mama!"

I get down to his level as continues to walk over to me. "Morning, bud," I say with a smile on my face. I stand back up and walk with him toward Christian as he stood a few feet away just watching us. He has the biggest smile on his face, "Morning," he says before kissing my cheek.

"Morning. What time did you guys get up?"

"He slept in until 9:15 and we just came out here not that long ago. Sleep okay?"

I nod, "Only got up once since I was a little thirsty. And today marks 10 weeks, so that's exciting. One-fourth of the way done!"

"How come this one is going by so much faster? I feel like with him we were just trying to make it past the weeks."

"Probably because he keeps us on our toes at all times."

He laughs and kisses me before taking my hat off and putting it on himself, "Hey! I was using that."

"Yeah, but I look better in it, don't you think?"

He looks like an idiot right now, "Do you want me to be honest?"

He shrugs, "I think you look silly. See even he thinks it's funny," I say pointing toward Kayden as he giggles.

"I guess I don't look as good as you do," he says putting the hat back on me. "You're a dork sometimes."

"Your dork, though."

"Okay! Let's have a look at this baby!" our doctor says coming into the room after having me lay back onto the bed. "Have you been feeling okay?"

"Much better than I was a couple of weeks ago." She moves the wand around and the amazing sound of our baby's heartbeat starts to ring throughout the room. That sound will never get old. "That's good. Very healthy heartbeat coming in at 152 beats per minute. Before I say anything else, did you guys want to find out what you're having?"

I look over at Christian and he shrugs, "I don't care."

"Well. that helps." They both laugh and I toss the idea around, "Umm, let's wait."

"Okay, no problem. This was just a routine check-up and you both look great and I see no problems or complications. So if either you don't have any questions, you're free to go. I know this is my last time seeing you before your baby is born, so congratulations and good luck with your season."

I look over to him once again and he shakes his head, "I think we're all good. Thank you."

"Yeah, thanks!" Christian tells her as she hands him the ultrasound pictures. "No problem! We always love having you here!"

She leaves the room and I pull my shirt back down and step down from the bed with Christian's help. He hands me the sonograms and I stand there looking at them before actually heading to go get Kayden from the clinic's daycare center.
