Brooklyn~

Early games mean early nights, and I was so excited to have an early game. It's like if we have late games, we don't necessarily get to eat dinner unless I prepared something beforehand. Normally, we just end up going straight to bed since we're both tired. Luckily, this will be the next few nights. Earlier games, with time to spare after.

I'm not even sure who we're supposed to be playing right now. I feel as if I'm just coasting right now and just waiting until All-Star Break, which Christian gets to be a part of again.

I had to be in early today so Christian didn't come in with me. I don't blame him, I had to be here for a few extra hours before most of the guys start to show up. The front office, managers, and I had a few meetings, and I wanted to stock all of the cabinets so the boxes in my office can go away. I did that all by myself since Jordan and Sarah didn't have to come in, so in all honesty, I was content doing it by myself. I played my own music and got it all done.

My music still played through my laptop as I scrolled through my phone. "Babe?" I hear from the short hallway that leads to the main area. Is that Christian? He doesn't have to be here for another hour. I push my feet off the floor to get my chair to roll toward the door.

I pop my head out and see him walking toward me, "What are you doing here? You don't have to be here for another hour," I say and get up to pause my music.

"Thought I would get here early and come in here. What have you been doing?"

"I was just relaxing and waiting for the other two to get here. But I had a few very boring meetings, I cleaned up, and stocked every single drawer and cabinet."

"Sounds like you had a busy morning/afternoon."

"Busy, but boring."

He chuckles and sits down in my chair. I hear walking through the short hallway and pop my head out to see Jordan coming in. "Hey."

"Hey, didn't you have meetings all morning?"

"Yeah, nothing too important. I also stocked everything, so we should be set for the time being."

I turn back to Christian and walk over to him. He looks up at me and pulls me into his lap. "I texted Ryan to see if he, Larisa, and the kids wanted to stop by for dinner," Christian tells me as he runs his hand up and down my legs. We had talked about having all of them over and cooking dinner since we only get a few more months of them being here in Milwaukee.

"Has he said anything?"

"He might've," he pulls out his phone and starts to read his message, "He said he'll talk to us when he gets here."

"Okay," I say and throw my head back. I think I will end up working 12 hours today, so that's fun. "Tired?"

"Mhm. I've just been going at it for the past few hours and then I've sat here for almost an hour doing nothing except listening to music. Now it's just getting hard to keep going."

"You got it." I lean in to kiss him.

"Would you two cut it out?" Ryan says from the main area. I lean out of Christian. "Every single time." I turn my head and look toward him.

"Are you ever going to not do that?"

"Nope. I don't know why you aren't used to it." He's right, I don't know why I'm not used to it at this point.

I stand up, "You guys coming over?"

"Yeah. The kids want to see you guys. And he offered to cook so that was an obvious yes from me."
