I'll Be Over :).

Christian ~

I woke up and I realized Brooklyn was wrapped in my arms. This isn't a bad way to wake up. I like this. I could really get used to this. I grabbed my phone and went on it, checking social media, and my email until I heard, "Morning," a little raspy from Brooklyn. 

"Good morning, how'd you sleep?" 

"Really good," she says as she turns and faces me. I smile and nod to say I did too. 

"What time do we have to be at the stadium?" I ask hoping it isn't too early. I like where we are and don't want to ruin it. "Um, I think around 11:30." 

"Can I ask you something?" I say not really wanting to freak her out about what I'm about to say. 

"Um, yeah," she laughs as she questions me. 

I laugh, "Do you wanna go out after the game? Like to dinner or something like that?" She smiles at me and tilts her head before pursuing her lips to the side. "Yeah, let's do it."

 I smile and start to get up since we slept in, it was already 10:30. "I'm gonna go get ready since we have to leave soon." 

"Okay, I'll see you downstairs?" 

"Yeah," I smile as I walk through the doors and shut mine with a huge smile on my face.

Brooklyn~ 

Christian left and I couldn't stop smiling. I got up and started to do my makeup and hair. I called Maggie since I haven't seen her in a week and I missed her. 

 "Girl, tell me everything!!!!!"

I laugh, "I don't even know where to start. We kind of just click and go together. I kind of feel like he's my guy best friend now. I don't know we're so similar yet so different. He's fucking amazing. I feel, that even if we don't end up dating or whatever, we're still going to be really good friends. I never thought I would be able to call him my friend," Maggie smiles so big when I was explaining everything. 

"Brooklyn, you need to keep him around. You're visibly happier and I can tell by how you're explaining him to me, he sounds like a keeper. I know you might have a hard time with letting him in after everything with Liam. But, he sounds really nice and I think you two could really hit it off. 

I smile at her and nod. "Thank you for talking some sense into me. I want to let him in but I know I'm going to put my wall up just out of reflex. Once I get back, we need to do a girl's night. I miss you too much. " 

"Def! I'll be waiting until you land back here in MKE." 

"Okay, I'll see you soon. I love you."

"Love you too." 

I hang up and realize I really need to get going otherwise I'll be late. I finished getting ready and headed down to the hotel lobby to wait for the buses to start to load with all the personnel and players. I see Christian and smile at him. I see some of his friends, Ryan and Lorenzo start to tease him and he starts to blush. I laugh as he looks toward me, slightly scolding me. 

The boys won and I couldn't be more excited to go out with Christian. Since they won, I knew he was going to be in an even better mood. We made it back to the hotel and I went to my room to get ready and out of my work uniform. Thankfully I packed a couple of sets of "going out" clothes and started to get ready. I brought along a blush pink bodysuit and some jeans with short tan boots.  

Christian: I'm ready when you are :)

I look at my phone and smile, "I'll be over :)"

I walk over to Christian room and knock. He opens the door and takes in my appearance, "Wow, you look great." I blush at his comment before he steps out into the hallway and closes his door. "Thank you, you look good too." He nods and we walk to the elevator. 

"So, where are we going?" I ask as we walk into the elevator and the door shuts. "Well, I found this great sushi place downtown that I think you will really enjoy." I smile, and nod before the door opens and we walk out. 

Luckily it wasn't that far of a walk. We talked while we walked. I learned a lot about him, as a person and just in general. I told him about my life, and we just learned from each other. 

"You were right that was really good," I laugh as we head out the door and explore downtown Seattle before we leave tomorrow morning. "Hey, look there's the space needle," Christian says as he points up towards the tall tower. I smile and grab my phone to take a few pictures to document our findings in Seattle. 

"Oh, man, you're Christian Yelich. I was at the game today." I turn to look at the guy coming up to us to talk. "Would you mind if we got a picture?" Christian nods and I take the picture quickly. "Hey, can you take a photo of us while you're here?" Christian asks as he hands him his phone. 

"Yeah, sure, no problem." 

Christian moves me toward where he wants us to stand. He puts his arm around my waist and pulls me close. I wrap my arm around him and move closer to him and turn my body to face him a little bit. 

The guy hands Christian his phone back and thanks him. "You're going to have to send that to me," I tell him. 

"I will don't worry." I smile at him as we walk side by side back to the hotel. 

I feel him fiddling with his hand beside me. I think he finally got the courage to hold my hand and take it. I smile at the gesture and hold his hand in mine. "Is your A/C still broken? You can sleep in my room again if it is," I offer to him as we walk back towards our hotel. 

"Yeah, it is, but yeah, I'll stay with you." We approach the hotel and head to our rooms. Christian told me he was going to grab his stuff before coming over since we leave the next morning at an ungodly hour. I told him to text me and I'll let him in. 

I quickly took a body shower as my hair seemed fine to not be washed until tomorrow night. I got settled in and turned Criminal Minds on to play in the background. I had a few emails to answer and some reports to fill out before the end of the night. Soon I heard a knock on the door splitting our rooms. I got up and opened the door and find Christian on the other side with all of his belongings. 

I smile and he comes in and sets his stuff by mine. I head back to the bed and get back to work before he asks, "I never knew you wore glasses?" 

I laugh, "Well, because I normally have contacts in and the glasses help my eyes from straining when I continuously look at a screen." 

"I like them. You should wear them more often." I try not to blush but I can feel my cheeks heating up, "I'll think about it." He laughs and nods. I put away my laptop and get my bags ready for the morning. 

"Oh, can you send me that picture? Also, I had a lot of fun tonight."

"Yeah, I'll send it now. But, yeah, me too." I smile as we both agree with each other. 

I hear my phone ding and look at the picture and smile. "I'm glad it turned it good," I say to him as I catch him staring at me. 

"Me too. What time do we have to be up?" He asks. 

"Well I know it's some ungodly hour of the morning," I laugh. "Flight leaves at 5:30, so we need to leave here by 4:45 to catch the flight. At least that's what Couns wants." He nods at me, "Well, why don't we head to bed then. It's already 10:30."

"Yeah, let's do it."
