Brooklyn~

One more week of Spring Training, that's it and we can finally start the season and be back in Milwaukee. "Hey, uh, are you busy?" Jordan asks coming into my office. "No, why?"

"David wants to meet with us. Now," he says and I almost question it but he seems clueless. I stand up as he waits for me at my door. We walk down toward his office, "Do you know something I don't?" I ask.

"No, he just emailed us and I figured you saw it, but you never got up, so I'm assuming you didn't see it," he says and I shake my head.

"I was looking over injury reports and my email wasn't open."

I knock on his door, "Come in."

We walk in and are greeted. "Hey, please sit," David says and we both take a seat at the two chairs in front of his desk. The last time I was in this position, something good happened, let's hope it's the same thing.

"You guys aren't in trouble or anything," he says and we both let out a breath. Thank god. "I just wanted to let you both know that we hired a new trainer, who has a degree in physical therapy. That's what their main job will be. We aren't having them start now just because there's only one week left."

I speak up, "Do we get to know who?"

"Both of you've actually worked with them before," he says and that automatically sets off a bell in my head.

"Sarah?" I ask and he nods. I really did like working with her after I got to know her and knew she wasn't out for my man.

"Oh my god, seriously?"

"Yeah, we really enjoyed having her here in the fall so we reached out when you both suggested a new set of hands."

"That's awesome. Thank you," Jordan says. I guess things didn't go well with them. The last I knew they were 'having fun'.

Hmm.

I was ecstatic about her return. She was super fun to work with, so this week can speed up. We both get up and leave his office and head back to our offices. "So, did things not work out? I really don't want to work with two people who hate each other," I say to him as we enter our offices where some of the guys are waiting for us.

"After she was done here, we kind of lost contact. Not intentionally, just happened. We're fine, I promise." Thank god. I don't think I could deal with that.

"Hey, how are you?" I ask Christian as I go over to him and stand in front of him. "Great, why are you so smiley?"

"Do you remember Sarah?" I ask as I focus on wrapping his wrists. He's started to play more games so now is when I need to really focus more on him. "Yeah, what about her?"

"She's coming back and working with us for good now," I tell him and look up at him. "Good for her. You two can outnumber Jordan," he says quietly and I giggle. "Already planning on it."

We made it back to Milwaukee and have an off day before we actually start. I was super happy because I get to go meet the newest little one, Alana. "Are you going with me?" I ask Christian, coming out of our room and down into the living room. "Where are you going?"

"Maggie's to meet my favorite niece. Well, my only niece."

"Yeah, I'll go." He stands up from the couch and puts some shoes on and grabs his jacket. He takes my keys from my hand as I stood near the door.

Maggie has been constantly sending me photos and I can't handle myself anymore. Like, if I don't meet her soon, I was going to lose it. That's why we are headed there right now because we start tomorrow and don't have an off day for the next two weeks. Then we leave for a road trip to Chicago and St. Louis. Needless to say, I need to meet her, now.
