Christian~

I rolled over to see Brooklyn not next to me anymore. I get up and see the bathroom door closed. Shit, we gotta go get Kayden soon. I make my way downstairs so I could use the bathroom. As I was washing my hands I happen to glance down into the small trash can. What are those?

I lean down and pick the two sticks up. Oh, god. Is this why she wasn't having anything to drink? I mean they're both negative so I guess we're good. Why didn't she tell me though?

I walk back upstairs to ask her. Not to be pissed, but just curious as to why she didn't tell me. I knock on the door, "Babe, can I come in?"

Brooklyn~

Oh my god. I'm pregnant, again. Holy shit. What a way to start the New Year. Damn it, Maggie was right. I should probably just tell him now and get it over with. Oh my god. I start cleaning up the wrappers and throwing them away as there's a knock on the door, "Babe, can I come in?"

Oh, we're doing this now. "Yeah," I say nervously. He's going to think this is great, right? Christian slowly walks in and we both start speaking, "Why were these in the trash?" he asks at the same time I tell him, "I'm pregnant."

"Wait, what?" he asks right after his question. "Yeah, look," I say as we meet in the middle of the two of us. He looks so shocked, "Oh my god, what? Then when are these from?"

"Last night. Before we ate I took them because Maggie and Larisa were convinced I was pregnant because I wasn't drinking."

"So you're just as surprised as I am?"

I laugh, "Yeah, I thought they were going to be negative again."

He puts his arms around me as we stand there, "I'm so surprised."

"I am too. But also we don't do a single thing to prevent so it's bound to happen."

"You aren't wrong. I hate to ruin this, but we need to go get Kayden from my mom's."

I lean my head on his chest, "I know. This is so crazy."

I don't know how long we stand there before actually getting dressed and heading out the door to get Kayden from his mom's. I've finally stopped crying as we get into the car. We're both going to have to keep our cool in front of his mom. Wow, this is really happening again. I'm almost waiting for Maggie and Larisa's text to see if I took them.

"Do you remember our doctor's name that's here? I can't think of her name," I ask Christian as we make the drive to his mom's.

"Davis, I think."

"That sounds right."

"Are you calling them?"

"They aren't open today, but tomorrow I will. Hopefully sometime next week we can get in."

He reaches over and sets his hand on my leg, "Baby number two already. I'm still not over it."

"Maybe a little earlier than we expected, but the more the merrier."

"Congratulations, you are pregnant! Let's see if we can see how far along you are," Dr. Davis tells us as I sit on the bed and Christian stands next to me. She starts doing the pelvic ultrasound and I forgot how uncomfortable these were. Definitely not my favorite.

I look over at Christian and he is intensely looking over at the monitor and I'm pretty sure he's about to cry. Nope, don't start crying, because then I will.

"Okay, well it looks like conception was about November 24 through November 27. Putting you at about seven weeks. How far along were you when you found out you were pregnant with Kayden?"
