Brooklyn~
I wake up to Christian running his fingers up and down my exposed back and whispering something to me. "Hmm?" I question as I didn't hear him.
I turn my head to face him and he chuckles, "I said we need to get going. You need to pack up all of your things. We don't come back to the hotel after the game." I just nod and wrap some of the sheets around me as I start to sit up.
"Can you toss me a shirt?" I ask him as he wanders around our room. He launches one of his shirts at me and goes into the bathroom. I quickly put his shirt on, that's like a dress on me, and get out of bed and start to pack my suitcase. I put the clothes that I'll change into on our bed and start to grab our chargers and anything important that needs to go in our carry-on.
I quickly change into my work clothes and finish packing my things into my suitcase. Christian comes out of the bathroom as I stand up from the floor and head to the bathroom to gather everything we put in there. This could be my least favorite thing, besides waking up extremely early, packing to leave for another city is so time-consuming.
"Babe, do you have everything packed?" I ask from the bathroom. "Yeah, I think so."
There's a knock at our door and Christian goes to answer it. I walk out of the bathroom at the same time as Ryan is coming into our room. "Hey Brauny," I say and sit on our bed and put my shoes on. I wonder what he wants, or if he wants anything.
He smiles and sits at the desk chair. Christian and I share some looks. "What do you need?" I ask trying to figure out what his problem is. He's being pretty quiet and he's never like that. "Oh, nothing. I was just bored and figured you guys would be up and about to head downstairs."
"Yeah, we're almost done here," Christian tells him as I stand up and move our bags to the door.
"Are you two coming or not?"
They both look over at me and quickly walk toward the door. "We got places to be today," I say and head out the door and wheel my suitcase out into the hallway.
It is a beautiful day in Miami for some baseball. "Sarah, can you start physical therapy with Lo once he gets in here?"
"Yeah, no problem. He's just doing some resistant band and then stretching right?"
"Yeah, that'll be fine. Don't let him push it either."
I head out to the field to see if any of the guys need help stretching and to just watch them. I don't really get the chance to watch them before the game so I've been coming out earlier and watching their bp. It makes it easier on them if I'm out here since they won't have to walk all the way back down to the trainer's room.
I spot Christian and Ryan throwing around while I lean up against the dugout fence. Ryan smiles and waves at me while Christian throws it back to him and then turns toward me. I wave back at them and look around the field and take in the beautiful day. I can tell why Christian loves it down here so much. Not only because the Marlins drafted him but it's just different down here than up in Milwaukee.
Christian comes over near me and lays down in the grass. He starts to stretch out his leg as he looks over at me. "Do you have that band?"
"Hold on." I walk back down into the dugout and look through the medic bag that's in my spot. "Here, that's the only one I got right now. The rest are back there," I tell him and hand him the resistance band. "It'll do."
I watch him as he puts the band over his cleats and pulls it behind his head. Soon he switches legs and looks around as more guys are coming up and starting to get loose. He sits up and tosses the band back to me. I put the band on the fence and go over to pull him up as he sits there holding out his hands.
