Amity's POV;

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!!"

Trying to grab the hands pinching my face, I stuck my tongue at her sudden bully.

Emira just laughed it off and ruffled my head.

"Ugh--seriously, Em..!?" I groaned fixing my hair before putting my crown that fell back on.

She sighed before saying, "you've been busy with work again."

I snickered.

"Well, I have no choice if I want peace to be upheld here." I said.

"And I also don't want to make it seem like I'm also like the former Emperor." I added.

She laughed harder and ruffled my head again.

"Stoooooopp!!!" I yelled shoving her hand away.

"You guys!!"

I shot up by the sudden yell.

Me and Emira turned to look, only to see Edric with puffed cheeks and crossed arms.

"Are you two bonding without me!?" He yelled as he came rushing over.

"Wha--aaauugh--?!! Ed!!" I fumbled when he suddenly spun me around while hugging me tightly.

I gritted my teeth and patted him by the shoulder.

"Seriously!! What is wrong with you two right now?? We just got back from the beach and now you two are suddenly all clingy at me!" I said.

Sheesh, don't I give these two enough attention in the castle??

Looking up at Edric, I waited for his response. I mean he did respond.

"Well, if Em gets to go all big sister patting you! That means I get to hug you for being a cat!"

"I'm a what!??" I yelled pulling myself down and out of his grasp.

Emira was laughing out loud pointing fingers at us.

Edric had such a determined look smiling all giddily at me.

"Well, if Ed gets to hug you like that! That means I get to hug you too!!"

I took a step back and away from them when Emira suddenly said that.

Seriously, these two..! They're both being so clingy out of no reason!

"Ok..! That's enough, you two! I still need to meet up with Gus and the new Archduke--eeeuughh--!?!!?!"

I dodged when Emira lunged forward.

And I dodged again when Edric lunged forward too.

I ran off, they were laughing running behind me.

These dummies..! They're two years older than me as adults and they're being so... Childish..!!

Skidding down the hallway, guards were probably giving weird looks at us as we sped past all of them.

Yanking the handle to open the door, I slammed it shut and relieved a sigh after finally finding some sort of pause from their sudden childish games.

"Are you ok, your high Empress??"

I perked up to see Augustus.

"Oh, Gus, nothing much. I'm fine." I said.

"Ok?? If you insist." He smiled scratching his cheek.

I shrugged chuckling.

Oh, there's someone else with us too.

Then the door slammed open right before I could look at them.

"Aaaaauuuurrrghh--" I yelled when they suddenly barged inside tackling me.

I huffed, their laughing was in both my ears as I tried to sit up.

Then I heard a familiar chuckle.
