Tommy POV

I should have known this was a stupid idea. Sneaking out into the woods was probably very dangerous, especially with all the mobs around.

I looked around, hoping I wasn't that far from the house. But I knew I had gone much further than I intended. I had never seen this part of the woods before, that's what scared me the most.

A zombie groaned, suddenly spawning next to me. I screamed, trying to get as far away as possible. Why had I been so stupid? They wouldn't notice I was gone until morning most likely. Which meant I had to survive the night. I knew my chances were low having no weapon or experience. My best bet was to hide out and hope for the best.

I quickly climbed a tree as more and more enemies spawned around me. My eyes widened in fear at the sight of them. This was actually happening... I could really die out here. I felt the tears prick at my eyes and I allowed them to flow. I trembled at the thought of being killed. I was only eight... I couldn't die yet!

I just hoped my family would notice soon.

"Help!" I screamed, praying that someone, anyone heard me.

I curled up into a ball, sobbing loudly. I need help.

Someone... anyone... please!

Wilbur POV

A sharp noise woke me up, making me groan. What was that? I looked around, noticing it was still night. It's probably nothing. I rolled over, hoping to find sleep again.

A nagging feeling crawled into my stomach, making me wide awake. What if something was wrong? I tried to subside my fears by ignoring the feeling, but it didn't go away. After ten minutes of laying in bed I finally got up.

I decided to check on my family, just to be sure everything was alright. First I headed to Phil's room, popping my head in for a moment. Phil snored in response, making me smirk.

Then I walked to Techno, noticing his light was still on. I knocked softly, hearing a rough, "Come in."

I pushed the door open and stepped into his room. Techno had swung around in his chair to look at me.

"Why are you still up?" he questioned.

"I could ask you the same thing." I crossed my arms.

"Potatoes wait for no man." Techno shrugged. "You?"

I hesitated before sighing, "I just got a bad feeling, that's all."

"A bad feeling?" he repeated, puzzled. "Like what?"

"I don't know, like something's wrong I guess." I replied.

"Have you checked on Tommy?"

I stopped, staring at him. "You... you don't think something happened, do you?"

"We better go check." Techno jumped up and was nearly out the door before I could even blink. I followed quickly, arriving at Tommy's door.

Techno knocked loudly, knowing Tommy was a heavy sleeper. There was no response. I felt a pit begin to form in my stomach.

"Tommy?" Techno called.

We exchanged looks before charging into the room. My heart dropped as I realized my little brother wasn't there. His bed was empty. A cool breeze drifted in from the window causing me to freeze.
