This is the second part of I'm Not Giving Her Up. It takes place ten years after Tommy left.

Tommy POV

"Tommy?"

I looked up from my monitor, glancing towards Dream. We had been living with him and Sapnap and George since I had left. Nearly ten years now. "What is it?"

Dream sighed, shifting uncomfortable. "They're here... you know-"

"I don't want to talk to them." I shook my head, glaring. How could they come now? I stood up, walking towards him. "Don't let them in."

Dream nodded, promising, "I won't."

I smiled gratefully, leaving the room. I moved down the hallway, stopping at a door. I softly knocked, hearing "Come in" before opening the door. I leaned in the doorway, looking proudly at the young girl.

"What's wrong Dad?" she asked, standing up.

"Nothing is wrong." I shook my head firmly.

"Then why were Sapnap and George arguing with someone? And then Dream went to you... Are you sure there's nothing wrong?"

"Don't worry about it Joy." I said, looking over her shoulder at her desk. A sketchbook lay there, covered in a new drawing. "What are you drawing now?"

Joy chuckled, "It's nothing Dad... just more rubbish."

I picked up the sketchbook, staring at the drawing. It was very advanced for someone her age. It was a realistic drawing of a blue jay, complete with a pine branch. "I don't think so." I looked at her. "I think it's the best one yet."

Joy rolled her eyes, looking down. "You're a little biased."

"You should be proud of it." I insisted.

"LET US SEE HIM! I WANT TO SEE MY SON!" a voice came from downstairs.

I sighed, wishing they would just go away. I didn't want them anywhere near Joy, not after they tried to take her away.

"Still sure it's nothing?" Joy muttered, moving towards the door.

"Joy!" she turned towards me, questions in her eyes. "Stay here please."

"But-"

"Please."

"Okay..."

I walked to the door, pausing, "I'll be back in a moment." She nodded and I left the room, making my way downstairs. I tried to prepare myself for seeing them again. But I knew that no matter what I did I would never be ready to face them. It just would never be enough.

George saw me, sighing. "They won't go away Tommy."

"I know. Let me- let me talk to them."

Dream gave me a concerned look, recalling what I had said before. "Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"We've got your back if anything happens." Sapnap told me, earning a nod of agreement from the other two.

"Thanks." I murmured, moving towards the front door.

I could clearly see them. Phil's green and white striped hat. Wilbur's yellow sweater. Techno's pink hair. They hadn't changed. I gripped the door handle, taking a deep breath before allowing it to open.

"Tommy!"

Three pairs of arms engulfed me in a hug. But I didn't melt into it like I normally would. I stood there, stiff. A moment passed before they finally let me go.

"Tommy?" Phil spoke softly.

"Why are you here?" I asked coldly.

"Tommy we're your family-" the man began.

"No. Dream, Sapnap, George, and Joy are my family." I shook my head. "You lost the right to be my family when you tried to take her away."

Wilbur gasped, his eyes filled with hurt. "Tommy-"

"Don't Tommy me." I snapped. "Just leave and don't come back." I turned only to feel a hand grab my arm.

"We can't even meet her?" Techno asked quietly.

I paused. "What if you try to send her away? How can I even begin to trust you?" I turned towards them, shaking my head. "You coming here doesn't change the past. It doesn't change what you did."

And I walked away, leaving them in silence.

I had my Joy, that's all that mattered.
