Tommy POV

It had been happening for almost a month. Sneaking out twice a week, sometimes it was more. The sad part was that no one noticed. No one asked where I was for dinner or why they didn't seem to see me on most days. It hurt, but maybe that just was the way it was meant to be.

That night was like any other, me sneaking to my room to slip out my window. A tree stood just outside my window, making it easy to slip away unnoticed.

As soon as I reached the grass I took off running to my secret place. Well it wasn't really secret, but it was something I had never told my family. And to be honest, I didn't think I would ever tell them.

I figured they wouldn't care, so I kept it to myself.

"Hey Tommy!" Tubbo greeted me.

"Hey Tubbo." I smiled.

"You ready?"

I nodded hesitantly, brushing back my blonde hair. "I hope so."

"You're going to kill it, like you always do!" Tubbo exclaimed.

I looked towards the stage, biting my lip. "If you say so."

"Is the great Tommyinnit nervous?" he teased.

"What? No!" I denied quickly. "I'm never nervous!"

Tubbo chuckled, "It's okay to admit it, you know." He glanced at me.

"I'm not nervous!"

"Alright then." he shrugged. "Come on, we don't want to make the director mad again."

I laughed, following him onto the stage. Most people were already there, awaiting instructions.

This was my home away from home, the theatre. A place where I wasn't judged, where I could simply be myself. Of course, I wanted to tell my family, but I feared their judgment. Besides, they didn't seem to really care what I did. Phil was too focused on Techno's tournaments and Wilbur's concerts to care about me.

And that was okay, I learned to accept it.

Who's to say they would ever notice I was gone?

Techno POV

Something went off. I had known that for a while now. The question was what? I had felt that way for what seemed like months but I could never pinpoint the reason.

I found myself walking towards Wilbur's room upon hearing his music. I didn't even bother knocking, hoping he wouldn't mind. He looked up when he saw me.

"Hey Tech, what's up?"

I found myself at a loss of words. So my answer was a shrug.

"Everything okay?" he questioned, concerned at my answer.

"Do you ever get a feeling like something's missing? Like it's really important, but you have no idea what it is?" I rambled, praying he would understand the words that were falling from my mouth.

Wilbur stared at me, then nodded, "Yeah, I've been feeling like that a lot lately. I was hoping it would go away with music." he indicated to the guitar in his hands.

"I just don't get it. What are we missing?" I sat beside him, staring at my hands like they would have some kind of an answer within them.

He shrugged, leaning into me. "Maybe Tommy is feeling the same way."

I nodded, standing up. He followed as we made it to his room. I opened the door, surprised to not see Tommy. Where could he be?

Wilbur pointed towards the window. I walked towards it, hearing the rustling of leaves. I watched as Tommy jumped down from the tree, running towards the road.

"Where is he going?" I asked, glancing at Wilbur.

"Let's follow him." he suggested and I immediately complied.

I climbed down the tree, nearly slipping at least a dozen times. How long had he been doing this? Wilbur followed behind, falling on top of me.

"Wilburrrr!" I groaned, pushing him off.

"Oh get over it." he rolled his eyes.

I chuckled and squinted, trying to see where Tommy had gone. I could only hope it wasn't anything bad. If I found out he was doing drugs or something like that I was going to strangle him. To my relief I spotted him further up the road, thankfully he had stopped running so he wasn't that far away.

We followed behind loosely. To my surprise we were heading towards a theatre. Why would Tommy be going there? I glanced towards my twin who wore the same puzzled expression.

I watched Tommy run inside, a skip in his step. We walked in behind him, sneaking into the auditorium. The two of us went to the very back, simply observing.

I saw plenty of people I knew there, most being Tommy's friends. I looked to Wilbur, "We should ask someone what's happening."

"I'm pretty sure it's a play." he smirked.

"You know what I mean."

He chuckled, nodding. I felt someone staring and turned to see Ranboo. I waved him over and to my surprise he came.

"What are you doing here?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"We may or  may not have followed Tommy."

"Don't tell him!" Wilbur cut in, a panicked expression lining his face.

Ranboo rolled his eyes, "Alright, but Tommy will kill me if he finds out."

"Why exactly is Tommy here?" I asked, hoping he would provide some information.

Ranboo gave me a strange look. "Did he not tell you?"

"Tell us what?" Wilbur replied.

"He's the lead in the play."

My eyes widened. My little brother was the lead in a play? Why didn't he say anything? "How long?"

"About a month." he responded. "Did he seriously not tell you?"

We both shook our heads, dumbfounded.

"I didn't even know he was into theatre." I admitted.

"He's really good actually. In my opinion I'd say he's the best actor here." Ranboo smiled. He glanced back towards the stage. "I should probably get back."

"When is it?" I said quickly.

"It's the 25th, at 7pm." Ranboo grinned, "So you're actually going to come?"

Wilbur stared at him, "Why wouldn't we?"

"Well Tommy- never mind." he shook his head. "He'll be happy when he-"

"Don't tell him!" I interrupted. "I want to surprise him."

"Alright." he agreed.

We were going to support him, even if he didn't want us to.
