Tommy POV

Tommy and Deo stood there for ages, just wrapped in each other's arms. It had been so long since Tommy had felt safe. It was something he longed for so long.

As the sun began to set, Deo lead Tommy further into Business Bay, taking him to the house. Tommy laid on a couch as Deo made them both hot chocolates.

Tommy didn't know how to tell him everything that had happened. How would he react? Would he kick him out when he realized how much a problem Tommy was? Or-

"Tommy?" the blonde looked up, taking a mug of hot chocolate. He sipped it slowly, savoring the sweet taste. Deo sighed, "Tommy you don't have to tell me anything... but just know that I'm here to listen."

Tommy bit his lip, putting his drink aside. "I-I just don't know where to start."

Deo thought for a moment, "How about when you left? I know you went to war, since you wrote letters... but those got fewer as the years went on until you didn't write anymore."

Tommy took a deep breath. "We won the war... then Wilbur decided to hold an election. And we lost." he paused. "We created Pogtopia and ran against Manberg-"

"Manberg?" Deo questioned.

"That was Schlatt's name for it. He took over, exiling me and Wilbur." Tommy explained. Deo nodded, urging him to continue. "We got Techno-"

"Techno? As in the Technoblade?" Deo's eyes widened. "Why Techno?"

"He offered his help, we figured we could trust him. He was practically our eldest brother." Tommy took another deep breath. "And he helped- he created farms, trained us, gave us the best gear- until the end. In the end he turned against us, joining Wilbur's side."

"Wasn't he on your side?" he questioned.

Tommy shifted uncomfortably. "H-he was. But when he lost the election... something broke inside him. He wasn't my Wilbur anymore, he was a maniac. Wanted to destroy Manberg and everyone in it." The blonde shook his head. "He wanted me to join him... but I couldn't kill all those people. Especially not Tubbo."

"So what happened?"

"He blew up everything after we killed Schlatt... and Techno created withers." Tommy bit his lip, not wanting to relieve the memories. "Then Phil killed him."

"Philza? Why did he do that?" Deo couldn't believe his ears.

"That's what he wanted." Tommy shrugged. "Then Tubbo became president and rebuilt everything. Then exiled me because I just messed up everything-"

"What did you do? It couldn't have been anything that bad." Deo put his mug aside, turning his full attention on his friend.

"I burnt George's house to the ground... I mean, it had been building up for a while. Dream was just waiting for an opportunity to get me out of the SMP." Tommy gulped, his fingers subconsciously gliding along his scars on his arm. "I got exiled... and let's just say Dream was terrible to me. He destroyed everything I made nearly everyday, abused me... but that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was no one ever visited me. It was like they didn't even notice I was missing, like they were happier without me." Tommy held back his tears. "He made me think he was my only friend."

One look at Tommy's face was all Deo needed to know he desperately needed comfort. He sat beside the blonde, pulling him into a side hug. Gently he began to play with his hair, feeling the boy lean into the touch.

"Ever since Ranboo and Tubbo got platonically married... I feel like I haven't existed." Tears began to steadily fall down his cheeks. "I can't remember the last time I talked to Tubbo."

Deo held him closer as he said that, feeling his heart break. "I-I'm so sorry Tommy."

"For what? You didn't do anything." Tommy croaked, burying his face in Deo's shirt.

"I should have been there." Deo sighed. "I could have protected you, we all could have."

"We?"

"Luke, Bitzel, and Wisp- and me of course." Deo smiled. "We all care about you." He thought for a second. "You can stay here if you want... maybe-maybe we can even get platonically married."

"What?" Tommy sat up, his eyes wide. "You want me around."

"Of course Tommy." Deo said, sad that his friend would ever think otherwise. "I've missed you so much ever since you stopped writing."

"I'm sorry, everything got so crazy-"

"It's okay." Deo cut him off. "You're here now, that's all that matters... so what do you think?"

"I'll stay." Tommy smiled at the idea. "And I would love to get platonically married."

Deo hugged him again, so glad to have his friend back.

And Tommy hugged back, just glad to have a friend for once.
