Tommy POV
Tommy sighed, rolling his eyes as the teacher continued on and on with the lesson. It was so boring, and completely a waste of time in Tommy's opinion. He had always hated this teacher, more than the others. Mostly because she was very mean to people, especially Tubbo.
The teacher was calling on people, like she always did. However the issue was that no one had any idea what they were learning about, so everyone was getting the question wrong. Tommy could tell Tubbo was getting nervous, just by how much his hands were shaking.
"Tubbo, what's the answer to question seventeen?" the teacher suddenly asked, turning towards him abruptly. There was a glare in her eyes that made Tommy's blood boil.
"I-I-" Tubbo began, biting his lip. "I-I don't know..."
"Y-you don't know?" she mocked, rolling her eyes. "M-maybe you should pay attention."
Tubbo looked down shamefully, close to tears. Tommy hated seeing him like that. Tubbo should never feel like that.
"Maybe you should teach better." Tommy snapped, making the teacher turn towards him in surprise.
"What did you say?" she asked, walking towards him.
"I said maybe you should teach better. In case you forgot, Tubbo has social anxiety and you blaming him for your horrible teaching skills, doesn't help him." Tommy stood up confidently. He was sick of the teacher treating his best friend like garbage. She had no right.
"Social anxiety is just an excuse not to answer questions." she snickered. "It's not a real thing."
"Are you kidding me?" Tommy shouted. "You have no right to judge if you don't have it."
"Sit down Thomas."
"Then stop treating Tubbo like it's his fault for his anxiety!" he continued, refusing to sit down. He was not about to let her win.
"It is his fault!" she yelled. "No one else in the class has a problem with it, so how can he?"
"He's different, okay? It's harder for him!" Tommy retorted.
"Go to the office Thomas." she finally shouted, seemingly done with the argument.
"Fine, but Tubbo comes with me." Tommy glared, grabbing the brunette's hand.
"Whatever."
The two of them left the room, Tubbo hiding behind Tommy. Once they were further down the hallway Tommy turned to Tubbo, his voice becoming much gentler. "You alright Tubs?"
Tubbo shook his head, "They all hate me! She hates me! I-I can't do this- I can't-"
"Tubbo." Tommy pulled him into a hug, beginning to breathe loudly so he could copy. "Focus on me Tubbo, just focus."
"I-I can't even answer a stupid question without stammering! I-I can't do anything!" Tubbo whimpered, suddenly wrapping his arms around him stomach.
"Tubbo? You okay?"
Tubbo covered his mouth, rushing towards the closest bathroom which was thankfully just a few feet away. Tommy followed closely behind, watching as Tubbo began vomiting in the nearest toilet.
He was sobbing, trying to catch his breath. Tommy rubbed his back comfortingly, wishing he didn't have to go through this. It was all that teacher's fault.
A few minutes passed and Tubbo was finally done. He leaned back against Tommy, exhausted. Tommy wrapped his arms around him, gently running his fingers through his sweaty hair.
