Tommy POV

It had finally happened. They had finally gotten sick of me. It had only been a matter of time, knew that. It had all started when I refused to pay the bills.

"Why haven't you paid the bills boy?" my father stomped into my room, a beer in his hand.

I took a deep breath, gathering up my courage, "I'm not paying the bills anymore."

I watched as a storm seemed to come over him, making me step back, "What do you mean you won't pay the bills anymore?"

"You heard me." I bit my lip, terrified of what he might do.

"Who else is going to pay the bills?" he demanded, growing more furious by the second.

"You are-e." I stammered, stepping back again. I could smell the alcohol on his breath as I wrinkled my noise at the scent.

He glared at me, drinking a little. "You want to run that by me again?"

"I'm-m sick of you taking my money."

He paused for a moment, thinking. He knew that I wasn't going to give him anymore of my money. To say I was scared was an understatement. I was terrified of what he might do.

He walked over to me, giving me no time to even run. He grabbed me by the neck, gripping tightly. I tried so hard to force his fingers to let go, but it was no use. He was too strong. I could barely breathe as he brought me down the stairs and towards the front door. He opened it and threw me onto the street. I gasped, trying to force air into my lungs and coughing in the process.

I slowly looked up at him in fear. "Don't ever come back. You are not welcome here... I have no son." He then turned on his heel, shutting the door behind him.

I sighed, what now? Snow began to fall, making me shiver. I had only a thin long sleeved shirt, which provided little to no warmth.

Where was I going to go now? I took my phone out of my pocket, grateful that I had grabbed it. I rubbed my neck, hoping it wouldn't leave a bruise, even though I knew it would.

My first call would be Wilbur, but he was visiting Techno in America along with Phil. And Tubbo lived over six hours away. I stopped, realizing that there was one person who lived only 15 minutes away. George, more precisely GeorgeNotFound.

I clicked on his contact and put the phone up to my ear. I waited for a moment, praying he would answer.

"Hello? Tommy?"

I sighed in relief. "Hey George." I would usually make fun of him, but I was far too tired and cold.

"You alright? You're never this calm."

"No, not really."

"What's wrong?" Concern leaked into his voice as he listened.

"Uh, my parents kinda kicked me out. I would call Wilbur, but he's visiting Techno in America. So... I called you instead."

"Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Where are you? I'll come pick you up."

"I'm at ***********. Thanks Big Man, its cold out here." I chuckled.

"Do you not have a jacket?"

"Not really." I admitted.

"Hold on, I'm on my way. Sit tight."

About ten minutes later a car pulled up. The driver's side immediately opened and George ran over, with blankets in hand. He wrapped them around me before leading me to the car.

The car ride was quiet, except for the occasional sniffle or cough. We got to his house quickly and before long I was sitting on the couch with a hot chocolate in hand.

"Hey Tommy?"

"Hmmmm?" I glanced at him.

"Why did you parents kick you out, if you don't mind me asking?"

"I refused to pay the bills anymore."

His eyes widened, "They made you pay the bills?"

I nodded, "Yeah."

"You should have told me! I would have gotten you out of there sooner."

I looked at him in surprise.

"Don't look at me like that. I would have, no joke."

"No I believe you. I... I just was surprised to hear you say it." I shrugged.

"Just because you're closer to Wilbur, Techno, and Phil, doesn't mean you don't matter to me." George smiled.

I leaned into him, "Thank you George."

"Of course."

Silence lingered between us, but it was somehow comfortable. It was nice just knowing he was there.

"You can stay here. You know, until Wilbur gets back."

"Really? You want to share you're house with a child?"

"Are you admitting you're a child?"

"No!"

"Sounds like you just did." He laughed. "But yeah, I'd love to have you around."

I grinned at his words. I was glad he didn't consider me to be annoying. I yawned, "That sounds good."

"Why don't you sleep Tommy? You've had a pretty crazy day."

I nodded, closing my eyes.

I smiled, knowing I had George to look after me.
