Wilbur POV

Something was off with Tommy. I had been noticing it more and more. He was more jumpy and seemed to flinch at everything.

Was someone hurting my little brother? That wouldn't make sense, because he was always with Jasmine. And Jasmine would never hurt him.

"What are you thinking about?" Jasmine tore me from my thoughts. I looked towards her, realizing all of her friends seemed to have left.

"Tommy."

"What about him?" I sensed a strange annoyance in her tone.

"He's been acting strange lately." I explained, trying to understand why she spoke that way.

She shrugged, "I'm sure he's fine."

I nodded, deciding it was easier to agree than to argue. "Are you sure you don't want to come tonight?"

"I already told you no." she huffed.

"I thought maybe you would change you're mind."

She rolled her eyes dramatically. "I don't know why you're so insistent on going to that concert." Her eyes cut deep into my skin. "Didn't I make it clear that music has no place in our relationship."

I bit my lip, hoping this wouldn't strain our relationship. "You never said I couldn't listen to it. Besides I'm really going to support my friend, it's his first concert."

"That Dream dude or whatever?" she questioned, completely uninterested.

"Yeah, we're all planning on coming." I told her. "I wish I could bring Tommy, but he doesn't do well with concerts."

"Oh is that why you're leaving him home?" she raised an eyebrow.

I nodded, "He can't handle loud concerts."

Jasmine muttered something under her breath, but I couldn't make out what she said. When she noticed I was listening she put on a big smile, one that seemed very forced. "Why don't we head over to your house and I'll look after Tommy?"

I quickly agreed and we got in my car. Jasmine insisted on listening to rap and controlling the music, despite the fact that she knew I hated it. I felt the need to groan, but I kept it silent not wanting an argument to prevail.

We pulled into my driveway and got out swiftly. We entered the house and was surprised to see no sign of Tommy. Usually he was sitting on the couch waiting for everyone to get home.

"Tommy?" I called, hoping to see some sign of the blonde.

The sound of footsteps came from the stairs and in came my little brother. He seemed to perk up at the sight of me, his blue eyes shining. However that excitement dimmed as soon as he saw Jasmine.

"Hey Wilbur."

"Hey Toms, how was your day?" I asked, hoping to find that spark again.

"It was alright." he shrugged.

I looked down at my watch and suddenly realize the concert started in a half an hour. It took at least twenty minutes to get there. I sighed, knowing that I had to leave. A voice in my head begged me to stay, confusing me a little.

"I'll be home by ten, and Techno and Phil shouldn't be far behind." I told him, ruffling his hair. To my surprise he didn't push my hand away. Instead he leaned into the touch.

He looked down quickly, offering a small, "Okay."

"Be good, alright?" I said softly, giving him a hug.

"Yeah."

I waved, exiting the house. I jumped in my car, pausing after I started the engine.

Why did I feel like something wasn't right?

Tommy POV

It was so hard. So hard pretending that everything was okay. I wanted to tell Wilbur so bad, but I didn't want to test Jasmine's threats.

She sent me a glare before pulling out her phone. I stuck my tongue out at her, muttering under my breath. Suddenly she shoved me against the wall.

"What did you say brat?" she growled.

"N-nothing." Why did my voice have to shake?

"That's what I thought." she released her grip, kicking me in the knee. I fell to the ground in pain. I inhaled deeply, trying to conceal my cries. She rolled her eyes, "I didn't even hit you that hard brat."

Slowly I got to my feet, stumbling back to my room. I couldn't take this anymore. Bruises covered nearly ever inch of my body. Every movement was sore, making it almost impossible to walk without something hurting.

I quickly locked my door, knowing Jasmine wouldn't like what I was about to do. I just prayed Wilbur would believe me. I grabbed my phone, which thankfully she had forgotten to take, and scrolled to my older brother's contact.

Ring, ring, ring

"Please answer." I begged, close to tears.

Ring, ring, ring

"I need you."

Ring, ring, ring

"Wilby."

My heart raced at the sound of Wilbur's voice. I was saved! "Sorry, I can't come to the phone right now. I'll try to get back to you when I can." My heart dropped when I realized it was his voicemail. No!

A loud beep sounded through the line as the tears began to pour.

"Wilby please-e I need help. I can't-t take this anymore! Please-e-" I was cut off by the phone being ripped out of my hand. How could I have not seen Jasmine? She threw the phone across the room, grabbing me by the collar.

"Did I not make it clear to not try to contact anyone?" she snarled.

"Fuck you." I mumbled.

Her hand flashed across my face.

"You're going to pay for that."
