Tommy POV

It had been nearly a week and Tubbo and I still haven't spoken. I hated it. I despised not being able to talk to my best friend. But I also couldn't bring myself to talk to him. If he would rather hangout with Ranboo then could we really be friends?

"Tommy?"

I looked up to Wilbur staring at me. "What?"

"Did you like it?" he repeated. I assumed he was asking for my intake on the song he was working on. Problem was I hadn't paid attention to the last bit of it.

I sighed, wanting to stay truthful. "Sorry Wil, I'm a bit out of it."

He nodded, as though he had been expecting it. "I noticed." He looked back at me. "It's Tubbo isn't it?"

I bit my lip, "I can't stop thinking about him."

Wilbur sighed deeply, setting down his guitar. "Have you tried talking to him?"

I shook my head, allowing it to hang low. "Do think he still counts me as his friend?"

Wilbur swung his arm around me, pulling me closer. "I don't know Toms. What he said was mean, even if he was just angry."

"Maybe he was just being honest. Maybe he finally decided he doesn't like me anymore." I suggested bitterly.

"Well in that case, he doesn't deserve you. If he will just push you aside then you need to let him go." Wilbur looked down at me.

"But it's Tubbo." I whined. He was my best friend. How could I just let him go like that?

"I know, I know." my brother spoke softly. He groaned a little, "Then I would just leave it in his park. If he wants you as a friend, he's going to have to come after you."

Tubbo POV

I glanced at my phone again, fidgeting with it. I leaned back on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Why did I feel like this? I felt like something was missing, and I knew who it was. Tommy, my best friend. I sighed, did he even like me after I said that?

A soft knock on the door came and I looked up to see my older brother, Dream. "Hey Tubbo, just wanted to let you know I'm home." He moved to go to his room, but I stopped him.

"Dream wait!" I jumped up.

He turned to me, "What's up?"

"I need advice." I said shortly. I looked down in embarrassment.

He tilted his head in surprise, but shrugged. Pushing my door open, he sat on my bed, patting it. "Come sit."

I was quick to sit beside him, leaning into him slightly.

"So what's going on?" he asked gently, knowing that I needed to take my time to talk about it.

"It's Tommy." I began, watching his face change to confusion before continuing. "I said something really hurtful to him and I-I don't know if its true."

"What did you say?" Dream was almost scared to ask.

"I said I would rather hangout with Ranboo then him." My head hung low as I thought back to the moment I had said it.

"But that's not true. Is it?"

I squeezed my eyes shut, thinking. "I don't know! I don't think it is, but... what if it is true?"

"But you just said it wasn't." Dream raised an eyebrow. "You decide, don't let you're brain try to figure it out."

"But what it it's true? What if I'm in denial?" I met his green eyes.

He rolled his eyes, "Stop with the what ifs. You decide that's all there is to it. And if you think it's a lie then call Tommy. I guarantee you he misses you, knowing how clingy he is."

"You really think so?" I felt a small smile begin to form on my face.

"I do." Dream nodded, ruffling my hair. I whined a little before slowly grabbing my phone. "Call him. Fix things."

Tommy POV

"Tommy be careful!" Wilbur laughed, watching as I slowly climbed up the tree.

"I am being careful! Stop worrying!" I responded. Carefully I grabbed the kite before descending down the tree again.

"I can't believe you got it stuck up there." Techno smirked.

"Hey I still got it!" I rolled my eyes. Suddenly I felt my phone ring in my pocket. I handed the kite to Wilbur, studying the screen. Tubbo was calling me. I smiled, walking away a bit, just so I was out of the earshot of my brothers.

"Hello?" I said, sounding a bit unsure.

"Hey Tommy." Tubbo replied.

"Hi Tubbo." I smiled, glad he had called. "What's up?"

Tubbo hesitated before responding. "I'm sorry for what I said. I was completely out of line. I guess I just felt like you were trying to control what friends I could have. When really you just wanted to make sure we remained as close as ever." I didn't immediately reply, trying to process what he had just said.

"Tommy?" Tubbo wailed, "Can we still be friends?"

I chuckled a bit, "Did you miss me that much?"

Tubbo laughed, "I did."

"Then yeah. We can still be friends." I grinned, finally feeling alright. "Sorry it made it seem like I was controlling your friends."

"It's alright. I should have known you would never you do that." Tubbo apologized.

"So we're good?"

"Yeah we're good."
