Tommy POV
Before Tommy had even thought about streaming he had already found a passion. Gymnastics. It was his favorite thing in the world, an easy way to express himself. He loved everything about it, even the hard work that came with it.
At a young age he began to train, practicing after school on most days and on the weekends. Competitions came with the sport. And while he was nervous, he still enjoyed them. He enjoyed showing his passion with people.
As he began to grow he began to get better. It wasn't long before he began winning competitions. More and more people came to watch him specifically, to the point where it got overwhelming sometimes.
But even with the anxiety he wouldn't give it up. It was a part of him.
Even when Tommy began streaming he continued to spend most of his time in the gym. He just couldn't stop himself. He couldn't live without gymnastics.
The one thing Tommy could never do was tell them. His best friends. The people he loved so much. He just couldn't handle the risk of rejection.
Techno's reaction scared him the most. The last thing he ever wanted to do was disappoint him.
One night Tommy was in a call late with Techno. The others had gone to bed, both having to get up early the next morning. Tommy fidgeted with his mouse, clicking aimlessly. He couldn't focus on anything except for how nervous he was.
"You're quiet tonight Toms." Tommy cursed himself. Sometimes he forgot how observant the older was.
"Yeah... just tired." he dismissed it, looking away from the camera for a second.
Techno hummed, looking at him. "You sure? You seem really out of it... are you nervous about something?"
Tommy froze, his eyes wide. "W-What would I be nervous about?" How could Techno always read him so well?
"I don't know." Techno shrugged, still studying. "Why don't you tell me? It might help you get a load off your chest."
The blonde bit his lip, playing with his fingers. He couldn't tell him. Techno would just think he was weird... he wouldn't want to hang out with him anymore... it would break up the group and then-
"Tommy? You alright Toms?" he asked softly, concern glimmering in his eyes. "You know you can tell me anything, right? I know you're closest to Wilbur, but I'm still here for you."
Tommy nodded slowly, taking a deep breath. "Thanks Blade."
Techno smiled. He obviously knew that Tommy wasn't comfortable talking about whatever it was, so instead he changed the subject. Slowly Tommy began to calm down, the tension in his shoulders disappearing almost entirely. It was still there though.
Even though he didn't bring it up again, he still wondered.
---------------
Techno POV
Techno sighed, sitting down in the bleachers. "Wish me luck!" his little sister called, smiling at him.
"Good luck nerd!" he smirked, watching her roll her eyes playfully.
He shook his head, looking down at his phone. It was a big championship for gymnastics, which meant that people all around the world were there. Techno played with his fingers, hating how many people were there.
He hated crowds. It was just too many people in one place in his opinion.
The competition didn't start for another half an hour so Techno decided to get a breath of fresh air. It would help him calm down a little. Besides, anything was better than a stuffy gym.
Carefully he made his way down the bleachers and towards the lobby. His eyes widened when he saw a figure that looked too familiar. Tall... messy blonde hair.
"Tommy?"
The child in question jumped, his eyes wide and alert. As soon as he saw Techno he seemed to panic, beginning to breathe quicker than normal. A man grabbed Tommy gently by the arm, steering him away from Techno.
Techno was still frozen, trying to decide if it was really Tommy. Was he competing? Since when did he do gymnastics? Why didn't he say anything? The questions filled his brain, only snapping him back into reality at the sound of the announcer.
"We start in five minutes!"
Techno jumped, rushing back towards his spot.
Was it really Tommy?
-----------
Tommy POV
Of all the people he had even considered running into, Techno was not one of them. Why was he here? His heart hammered against his chest as he approached the beam. He had never been this nervous before.
Not only was it a championship, it was in front of Techno. The Technoblade.
Tommy gave a nervous smile as he heard his name called.
Focus Tommy.
Just focus.
----------------
Techno POV
Techno had never seen anything like it before. Sure, he had been to his little sister's competitions before and yes, she was amazing. But Tommy was just on another level.
He looked so comfortable doing his routine. As though it was simply a part of him. Techno watched in fascination, unable to take his eyes off the blonde.
Why did Tommy keep his talent a secret?
If Techno had known, he would have gone to every competition possible. Anything to cheer on his best friend, practically his little brother.
When the routine finished, Techno got his feet cheering as loudly as he could. "YEAH TOMMY!" he shouted, watching as Tommy looked at him in surprise. Did he really think Techno wouldn't cheer? "THAT'S MY LITTLE BROTHER!" he yelled, grinning as Tommy's face turned red with embarrassment. He smirked, his job was done. "That's what you get for not telling me." he mouthed to the blonde who only rolled his eyes.
The rest of the competition was boring. No one even came close to Tommy's talent. Of course, Techno cheered for his little sister as well. He was proud of her.
But the was just so proud of Tommy as well.

Tommy POV
Tommy couldn't believe it. Was Techno really that proud of him? He waited anxiously as they were calling results. If he won this it would be his biggest win yet.
"And our winner is.... Tommy Innit!"
The crowd jumped their feet, immediately cheering. Tommy beamed, walking over to receive his award. He could clearly hear Techno through the crowd. He didn't think the older could be this loud.
Once everyone was dismissed, Tommy barely had a minute to breathe before he was engulfed in a tight hug. Tommy smiled, immediately hugging back.
"Why didn't you tell me?!" he demanded, refusing to let the younger go.
"I-I uh-" Tommy stammered, trying to come up with a good excuse. "I figured you would think I was weird."
Techno rolled his eyes, pulling back to meet Tommy's eyes. "Tommy we literally play Minecraft for a living."
Tommy burst out laughing, hugging Techno.
"You do know that I'm going to come to all your competitions from now on, right?"
Tommy rolled his eyes, but smiled nevertheless.
He wouldn't have it any other way.
