I know it's been a while, but I thought I should put an ending to this one! :)

Tommy POV

Life had not been treating him well, that much was sure. He sighed, leaning back against his small hotel room. He had managed to scrape together just enough money to have a place to sleep for a week. It was cramped, but it worked. That's all that really mattered to him.

He didn't have much money left. After all the success in his career, he didn't think that could ever be possible. But here he stood, rather sat.

Tommy closed his eyes, trying to remember the last time he was happy. It seemed to be so long ago.

"Wilbur?"

"Hmmm?" Wilbur looked up from his guitar, his eyes softening at the sight of his little brother. "What's the matter Toms? Shouldn't you be sleeping? Big day tomorrow..."

"I-I can't sleep..." Tommy admitted, standing awkwardly in the doorway.

Wilbur hummed, patting the spot beside him on the bed. He moved his guitar to the floor as Tommy walked over, his head hanging lower than it should of. As soon as Tommy sat down, Wilbur wrapped an arm around him, pulling him closer.

"What's wrong?" he asked softly. Not demanding, just concerned.

Tommy sighed, feeling the tears building up in his eyes. "I don't know! I-I'm scared! I shouldn't be... but I am..."

"Oh Toms." Wilbur spoke gently, beginning to thread his fingers through Tommy's soft hair. It was a habit, and one that Tommy liked. "What are you scared about?"

"Everything! Being far from you guys... being far from everything I've ever known. Just starting over... I'm not ready! I'm just not!" Tommy sobbed out, finally allowing his tears to fall.

Wilbur held him tighter at that, having felt the exact feeling before he had left. "You are ready Toms, you just don't know it yet." he assured. "You're readier than I ever was."

Tommy slowly looked up, confusion sparking in his eyes. "What do you mean-n?"

"Well you're a lot bolder than I ever was... and you're an amazing person-that certainly helps. And you're already so sure of yourself, which is rarer than you think." Wilbur listed, grinning as Tommy began to smile slightly. "And you have an incredible passion that is going to take you so far."

"And what if it doesn't?" the blonde whispered. "What if I let everyone down?"

Wilbur laughed at the thought. "I don't think you ever could."

"Really?" Tommy felt so small in that moment.

"Have I ever lied to you?"

"Yes, all the time." Tommy said, rolling his eyes.

"I mean genuinely." Wilbur chuckled, ruffling the boy's hair and earning a whine.

"No."

"I'm right Tommy, just know that. You could never let us down, no matter how hard you tried."

Tommy smiled at the memory, remembering falling asleep in Wilbur's arms that night. He missed Wilbur, more than anything. What had he done wrong? He still didn't understand why he hadn't gotten any replies from anyone.

"You know I'm going to miss you, right?" Techno said, pushing away from his computer.

Tommy looked at him in surprise. "As if. You're telling me the great Technoblade actually has feelings?"

Techno sighed, "I am trying to be serious Tommy."

The blonde huffed, turning away. Sometimes he wondered if Techno actually liked him. Without really thinking he spoke up. "What are you going to miss?"

"You."

"Well, I get that. I mean... what about me?"

Techno thought for a moment, as though he were considering his options. "Seeing your smile everyday... your bright eyes... and of course listening to your obnoxious personality." He smiled at his younger brother.

"I thought you hated my personality."

"I didn't say that." Techno corrected, "I said it could be annoying at times, that never meant I hated it."

"So... you're saying you're actually fond of me?"

The older rolled his eyes, surprising Tommy by pulling him into a hug. "Yes Tommy, that is what most people would translate that to." Tommy tightened his embrace, leaning into Techno.

It wasn't often that he received Techno hugs, so he chose to treasure it.

Tommy glanced at his phone, disappointment pooling at his chest when he still saw something. Was he even still looking? No one texted him anymore.

Suddenly the phone vibrated, making him snap to the sound.

One message from Wilbur...
