Tubbo POV

"I think I'm gonna log off." Tubbo yawned, stretching his arms behind his back. Squinting back at the bright computer screen, he glanced down at the time. It was nearly two in the morning.

"Alright." Theo chuckled, no doubt looking at the time as well. It was crazy how much time could pass without them even realizing it. "Sleep well Tubs."

A ding rang through the call, indicating that his friend had left. Yawning again, he shut his computer down and began to get ready for bed. He was exhausted from doing a four hour stream earlier in the day. After changing into comfy pajamas, he climbed into bed.

Thinking to himself, he chuckled, "When was the last time I did such a long stream?" Surely it had not been recently. Recounting all the streams he had done, he felt the sudden urge to know. The more he thought about it, the closer he seemed to get. Until he finally remembered. That stream with Tommy... why did that name sound so unfamiliar on his tongue? Had it really been that long since they talked?

Reaching for his phone, he tried to remember the last time he spoke with Tommy. A rush of fear spread through his veins when he realized he couldn't. He couldn't remember the last time he had spoken to his best friend.

He quickly searched through his messages, hoping he was wrong. That it hadn't been that long. He felt his heart begin to sink as he began to read through all the messages.

"Hey Tubs! I was planning to do a stream later, you up for it?"

"Tubs? I saw that you were streaming with Theo yesterday. Did I do something wrong? I'm not mad, I just wish you would have told me. I waited for you for a while... Besides, Theo could have streamed with us! Get back to me when you can."

"Tubs it's been almost a week. Why won't you read any of my messages? If this is a joke, can you please end it? I miss my Tubbo."

"Tubbo I miss you so much. Those thoughts are starting to come back. I could handle them before because I had you. But now... I don't think I'll be strong enough to face them this time. I'm sorry big man. I just can't survive without you. I tried to... but I just can't."

"I'll miss you forever and always. Farewell big T. I'm sorry for everything."

Tubbo could already feel the tears before he had even finished reading all the words. His heart began to race as the messages came to a stop, nearly a month ago. What if something happened to him? And Tubbo wasn't there... What if- no, Tommy would never do that... Right?

Jumping out of bed, he dialed Tommy's number, desperate to talk to him. He tried not to notice all the miss calls he had missed... and they were all from Tommy. How could he be such a bad friend? Tommy was suffering and he didn't even do anything... Could he even call himself his best friend anymore. Best friends don't hurt each other. Best friends have each other's backs no matter what.

Pacing impatiently, he muttered under his breath, a sort of habit he had when things were getting out of control. "Pick up, pick up. Come on Tommy."

Much to his relief, he heard the line connect. "Hello?" a voice giggled, far too bubbly to be real.

"Tommy?" Tubbo heard another laugh. Since when did Tommy laugh like that? "Is that you?"

"'course it's me big-hiccup- man! I'm the -hiccup- great Tommyinnit!"

Tubbo felt his heart drop in his chest as he realized what was happening. What little relief he had felt quickly vanished from his chest. "Tommy... are you drunk?"

"Yup! Drank the whole bottle!" Tommy exclaimed, seemingly proud of his accomplishment.

Wilbur was going to kill him when he found out, that much Tubbo was sure of. "Where are you Toms?" he asked softly, hoping the teen would stop laughing. He tried to keep the panic out of his voice, but even that seemed difficult to do in the moment.

"Home!" he hiccupped, gulping down more.

"Tommy, I'm on my way, alright?" Tubbo rushed to get ready, pulling on his shoes and grabbing his coat. "Just don't do anything stupid."

"Tubbox! Tubbox is coming!" Tommy giggled, not listening to a word Tubbo said.

Tubbo jumped in his car, immediately beginning the long drive to Tommy's house. How did things get so bad? What was happening to his Tommy?

... Could he even call him that anymore?
