Inside Info: This Conner Kent x Reader is based off the DC animated film Reign of the Supermen's adaptation of Conner Kent.

   Y/N'S POV

  As I sat with my mother, Persephone, she placed a flower in my hair and asked me,"Will you do what your father asked of you, Y/N?"

  I shook my head saying,"No, I won't. He only wishes for me to be here because he is afraid that I will cause more trouble for him out there. He also just wants to find another way to keep you from spending more time with your mother. Mother, I see how much it hurts you to be here after you have spent the little time that you do receive with your mother."

  Mother looked away from me, but she just pulled me into her arms and said to me,"Your father loves both of us, Y/N. You must know that. He is only afraid of the day when you won't return to us. He understands how much you love Conner."

  I asked Mother,"Why would I wish to stay here forever?"

  Mother kissed my forehead and said,"You must return, Y/N. You must. If not for your father then for me. You are what makes it much easier each day."

  I nodded and stood to my feet. I sent my mother an encouraging smile before I found a way to get to Earth.
  I only wished that I didn't give my father an excuse to hurt my mother even more than she was already hurting.

   2 HOURS LATER...

  Conner asked me,"Does your father know that you're here with me now?"

  I sighed saying,"Probably. He is Hades. He'll find a way to figure it out, even if it means killing someone to do it."

  Conner gulped but laughed saying,"Well, I doubt that he'd kill me, right? He has plenty of things he could be doing instead. Right, Y/N?"

  I said,"Conner, I, honestly, don't know. Father doesn't speak to me about anything really."

  Conner wrapped his arms around me and leaned on me saying,"I'm sorry, Y/N. I'm sure he'll come around. What about your mother, is he treating her any better?"

  I closed my eyes as I said to Conner,"It's okay, Conner. Maybe he will come around, but he's treating her a little better. He just needs to work on his temper and not trying to buy my mother's love with gifts when something goes wrong."

  Conner made me look at him and asked me,"If I asked you to marry me, would you say yes?"

  I just stared at Conner, not really knowing what my response should have been to his question.

  Conner frowned and said,"Don't worry about it, Y/N. Just forget that I just said that to you."

  I moved out of Conner's arms and held both of his hands saying,"Conner, I would say yes, but I am not sure if I would be-"

  Conner finished for me by saying,"Going against any important rules and stuff, I get it. Well, at least I know that you'd say yes if I asked you to marry me."

  I moved back into Conner's arms before I heard,"Daughter?"

  I turned and noticed my father standing there.

  He looked over at Conner, but he looked back at me saying,"Y/N, I will not punish you for coming here to see him. You have my word, but I would like to spend time with you when you are finished here."

  I smiled at my father and nodded saying,"Thank you. Thank you. We can spend time together when I am finished here."

  My father smiled at me for a few seconds, then he just left.

  Conner asked me,"Does he like me now?"

  I chuckled but said,"I don't know. I wouldn't assume that he does. He can be very stubborn when he chooses to be stubborn."
