Chapter 18: Disagreement

Lee's POV

We arrived back at the motor inn, Kenny glares at Ben who is taking watch. I spot Clementine "talking" to the radio even though it's broken. Y/N is with Carley, Clementine spots me and immediately runs over to me.

Clementine: You're back.

Clementine: Ben found some stickers in a drawer and I put 'em on my walkie!

Me: Hey sweet pea. That's neat, I'll find you in a minute.

Clementine nods as I knock on the door to Lilly's room. Lilly answers the door.

Kenny: Looks like we got the kid on watch again.

Y/S/N: Ahem, I'm a kid and I go on watch.

Kenny: Your 18.

Lilly: What'd you get?

I give Lilly my rifle.

Kenny: We might as well leave a sign out that says "the men are gone, come rape our woman and children."

Lilly: Ha.

Lilly then puts my rifle down on the bedside table.

Lilly: So what did you get?

Me: A lot of stuff.

Y/S/N: To put it more simply, a FUCK ton of stuff.

Kenny than hands Lilly the bag.

Kenny: We're FINE by the way...

Lilly checks the bag.

Lilly: Nice work. This will keep us going.

Y/S/N: So we did good?

Lilly: If we carry on like this, we'll get through the winter here.

Y/S/N: You didn't answer my question.

Kenny: Hold the fuck on, the winter? We'll freeze our asses off here.

Lilly: Because piling into an RV with you three, after you did to my dad, is SO appealing.

Kenny: Why wouldn't it be, y'know I will do whatever it takes to keep everyone safe.

Lilly; We're already safe.

Y/S/N: We were safe BEFORE, not anymore.

Kenny: Take a look at the wall, Lilly. That's not graffiti. Those are bullet holes. And we got enough arrow shafts sticking out of it to dry our laundry.

Me: We have to go eventually, Lilly.

Lilly: We don't have to do anything.

Kenny: You didn't want to go because of your dad's health but he's gone now.

Me: Easy, Kenny.

Y/S/N: Lilly, this place isn't safe forever.

Lilly: You and your brother should be thankful, I'm protecting you all.

Y/S/N: Wow what do you want? A medal?

Carley: At it again, are we?

We turn around to see Y/N, Carley and Katjaa.

Kenny: Can it, Carley.

Y/N: Y/S/N, what's going on?

Y/S/N: Just a disagreement.

Lilly: Don't boss people around, Kenny.

Kenny: I'm sorry. Somebody needs to make executive decisions for the group though, and I don't think you're capable anymore.
