Chapter 17: Back to the Drugstore

Kenny's POV:

Me, Lee and Y/S/N were all running in Macon, it is now completely abandoned, we need to find some supplies for our group. We turn the corner and see the drugstore.

Me: Looks like this is our lucky day.

Y/S/N: Perhaps, this place still gives me nightmares.

Lee: Yeah, I don't like it. So keep your eyes open, all right?

Y/S/N: They're always open Lee.

Me: And I'm just tryin' to be optimistic.

Lee: Let's just get inside.

We spot an old tool store, we approach it.

Y/S/N: Alright stay down.

I get down and stealthy approach the store as Lee checks through the broken windows.

Y/S/N: Is it safe to continue?

Lee: Yep, let's keep moving.

We continued moving forward towards the drugstore as I then felt my rips hurt.

Me: Mmph, man.

Y/S/N: Kenny, you good?

Me: I'm fine.

Y/S/N's POV:

Kenny: So you two, where do you come down on stayin' or goin'?

Lee: You mean packing up the motel and getting in the RV?

Kenny: Yeah. We've been talking about it, but you made up your mind yet?

Me: I think go, Lilly is fucking crazy ever since... you know.

Lee: Yeah, we should go. The motel's run its course and it's not safe.

Kenny: You're damn right it has. We pile into the RV and don't pull over 'til we see water. And if Lilly's deadset on staying, then, well, that's the way it goes.

We then arrive at the drugstore, it's in pretty bad shape, it looks like a jet ran into the roof.

Kenny: Okay, just like last time. Over the rig, into the pharmacy and scrape together whatever supplies are left.

Lee: We didn't leave much in there.

Kenny: We're out of options. Somethin's better than nothin'.

Kenny then climbs up the ladder, only for the ladder to break, he manages to up on the truck in time however so no harm is done.

Y/N's POV:

Me and Clementine were chatting when we then spot Ben approaching us.

Ben: Hey you two. How are you holding up?

Me: Amazing! We drew something new!

Me and Clem then showed Ben our drawing, he smiled.

Ben: Amazing, but hey when do you think Y/S/N is back?

I look at him confused.

Me: Why?

Ben: No reason.

He then wondered off.

Clementine: That was weird.

Me: Yeah, I'm worried about her, Lee and Kenny.

Clementine: Soooo, everyone.

Me: Yeah you could say that.

We look into eachother's eyes as we smiled. Clementine's eyes look so pretty! We then continued our talk.
