(Ayanokoji Kiyotaka's POV)

Monsters and humanity are two quite inseparable things, be it in fiction or reality. You will always find a parallel or a tying knot between the two.

But things change quite alot of when you mix the two into one, a monster with a human heart will without a doubt appear quite freaky and odd to the audience, and a human with the heart of a monster will undoubtedly birth fear unbearable in the hearts of the audience.

To me though, either one would have a hold on my mind. As someone who has seen what it means to be human and what it means to be a monster, i can't help but seek understanding of such things to an even greater level.

Even if such knowledge will drive me down a path that can only be compared to a hell upon earth...

After a hectic two weeks of escaping from that man, I have finally found a safe place of sorts in a school, It's called the Advanced nurturing highschool...

I got on the bus that takes me to the school, it was quite the long way from where i was at due to the school being on an island and quite secluded from the rest of the country.

I spent most of the ride staring outside the window looking at the road and near the island at the sea and clouds, sitting beside me was a raven haired girl, her hair was quite long and she was holding in her hand the book named "Ulysses" by James Joyce.

I had read that book once when i was a child, she was quite focused on that book and her expression rarely changed and she never looked away from it or glanced at anyone or anything.

That is until a sudden ruckus happened on the bus, An office lady can be heard shouting at a young well built blonde man who had a carefree look on his face, unfazed and undisturbed by the woman's shouting at him.

They argued for a while about how the young man should give away his seat for an old lady who was standing, the boy blabbered on about how he is important to society and the value of young people in society which i agreed with if not for his attitude...

A young girl with butterscotch hair then stepped in to aid the old woman which amused the blonde boy, she tried to persuade the other passengers but alas, nobody responded.

Even my raven haired seatmate who was quite invested in the choices of the other passengers did not open her mouth and simply kept glancing at everyone else, myself included.

All hope seemed lost for our young heroine and the poor old lady until one young man stepped up, he had messy black hair and sharp facial features, he got up from his seat and smiled warmly at the butterscotch girl who was quite relieved that someone volunteered.

He spoke up to her and said "Uhm..she can have my seat, i am fine with standing, my destination was quite close anyway".

He, butterscotch girl, blondie and my seatmate had the same uniform as me so i assumed they're all my fellow students at the ANHS.

there was also another young man who had the weirdest hairstyle i have ever witnessed since my leaving of that place, his hair looked like...green onions. that's the only way i could describe it, he had greenish white hair with dark green hair tips and two strands of same colored hair flowing in front of his face.

He hadn't even batted an eye to the situation as he was sleeping, no amount of ruckus could wake him up it was as if he had an alarm in his brain that'll tick when he reaches his destination.

And reach it he did... in a few minutes time i arrived at my new home for the next 3 years the ANHS, as i got out of the bus and to my right was green onion and the messy haired boy we heard a loud voice calling.
