(Kutsuki Keshino's POV)

The unshakable weight of...everything, is finally coming down. I have done so well so far...

I have made this journey of yours bitter Kiyotaka...even if you come out victorious, you will always have a bitter taste in your mouth.

The taste of the decaying bodies of the fallen, no matter how hard you try...you will always remember those who died and those who will die.

And that makes me...thrilled, i truly wish i could see your distraught face or your anger but...i know how things will go on from here.

I am your enemy after all and if i can't make you work so hard to get to me then it'd be pointless...

I am the most worthless and pathetic man and yet...i can't stop.

I can't stop grinning so much right now...i am feeling it...this weirdly common emotion...

Happiness...

"The gunfire...it stopped, Kutsuki-san that means-"

I sighed slightly at Tsubasa's words as i patted her head.

"That means...he's here, Kiyotaka..." i muttered as the sound of footsteps began sounding.

It wasn't one person...it's two people, guess she came along huh...

I glanced a look to my right and scoffed as i watched Shuuya and the other fools who tried to escape huffing heavy breaths.

"Rejoice all of you...the hero is here!" i declared as i stood up and Kumagawa and Magase stood beside me.

My body...it's shivering...the mere fact that Kiyotaka is soon to be arriving here in the flesh is...terrifying me.

Even now...even after i believed myself invincible to him...he's still there in my mind, his cold eyes that make me feel even more worthless than i already am...

The sound of footsteps grew closer as finally...the two figures appeared.

The first was a familiar young woman, her short brown hair is shining beautifully alongside her violet colored eyes as her pure figure is...tainted with blood.

The second...was even more familiar.

His hair which was darker than i remember immediately brought memories but not as much as his eyes.

His cold and completely emotionless eyes...their brownish yellow color is like a dying star's glow, even now as i look at him in silence...i can't help but feel even more fear.

"We meet again...Kutsuki" Hina spoke up first as she had her hands in her pocket while she analyzed the scene before she flinched in shock at the sight of the students.

"Kano-kun and Chisato-senpai!!" she screamed out as she tried to step forward but Kiyotaka grabbed her shoulder.

"Let go of me Niisan!, they're-"

Kiyotaka stayed silent before sighing and pulling her back.

Hina stayed shocked and so was everyone as he stepped forward and stared me in the eye.

"Are you satisfied...Kutsuki Keshino?..." he asked calmly to which i stayed silent as i clenched onto my heart before exhaling and letting go of myself in a calm manner.

"More so than ever...you're now...as much of a villain as me, you will never be the hero, Kiyotaka." i said with a small smile as i stared him in the eye and he did so as well to me.
