That Thursday morning soon turned into Thursday afternoon, slowly turning to Friday lunch. The bell had rang not 5 seconds ago and the classrooms were already empty, students piling into the halls and cafeteria for food.

I was the last one to leave my English classroom after Mr Higgings had assigned us a month to read and prepare our debates on the one true love of 'Romeo and Juliet' by Shakespeare, seeing Kathleen by her lone self waiting for me to join her across the corridor.

"Good day to you, gorgeous." I greeted her with a cheeky smile as she blushed and shoved my arm.

"It's no wonder every kid in this school likes you." She snorted at her own remark as I clicked my tongue, linking my arm with hers and heading back the way Kathleen had come from.

"Such a shame, because I don't like them." I said truthfully with a fake pout.

It's not that all American's were rude and unpleasant to talk to, because I had met some really nice people whilst living here but, why must the kids have so many sticks up their ass?

Kathleen laughed at me, nudging my shoulder when we entered the cafeteria. "Look who it is." She teased, nodding over to the table where Eddie Munson was sat around with his friends. I scoffed at her and walked over to Steve, Nancy and their two dicks.

"Holla amigos." I greeted them, sitting opposite the four on the table opposite from Eddie's so his eyes were in a direct line to the side of my face. I felt his stare the entire time I walked over to my friends but chose to ignore it. I didn't need any snide remarks from him today, not until at least last period anyway.

"Kim, you gotta agree with me okay. The Smith's beat Culture Club all day, right?" Steve asked as I picked up a raw carrot from his plate and placed it into my mouth and chewed it. I nodded enthusiastically.

"Fucking yes. Who said otherwise?" I asked curious, already suspecting my suspect. I looked over to Tommy as Steve spoke.

"That idiot. He has no taste in music." Steve snorted in reply.

"If you play that shit tonight, I'm heading straight home. You snort cocaine on the weekends but listen to The Smiths?" Tommy chuckled. "Yeah, you're a real nut case, Harrington. Just like Kimberly's mom." He ended his speech with a joke, which was more of an insult to my mother.

"Tommy man, that's not funny." Steve scoffed and shook his head disapprovingly at his friend.

"You found it funny, didn't you babe?" Tommy asked Carol with a smirk. She nodded and blew a bubble out of her mouth from the chewing gum inside of it.

"Of course she found it funny, anything with a dick she finds funny." I said to the pair, who looked at me angrily as the rest of the table sniggered.

"Dude, lighten up..." I heard Steve begin to say as I stood up and left to get myself some salad. It was the only thing I was allowed to eat these days because of cheer, and I hated it.

My first week here my coach told me I weighed over the limit, and I was too lose weight within 3 months in order to become a proper member of the squad. I wasn't even large either. I just had large thighs and a decent cup of boob and bum, but people always care about weight these days.

"Are you going to speak too Eddie?" I heard Kathleen ask from besides me as I picked up a good portion of plain old lettuce. Yum.

"We have biology together, last period. Why would I need to speak to him now?" I asked her back, knowing exactly what she was referring too.
