𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚: 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗚𝗘

"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you.." Eddie snarled at me continuously over and over again. It never stopped until I woke up; He didn't even die anymore, he just told me he hated me.

"Eddie..stop." I begged him, exhausted.

"You don't know me..you don't even know me." His voice began to get louder. "I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" He bellowed in my face, his nose touching mine. "FUCK YOU, KIMBERLY! FUCK YOU!" I flinched at his words, letting the tears stream down my face as he continued to harass me for something I couldn't even explain.

"FUCK OFF!" I yelled back at him, making him shut up finally. "Go away. Go away." I began to mutter. "You're not real. This isn't real. You're not here, Eddie wouldn't hate me like this." I tried to convince myself rather than him.

He sniggered dryly, almost as if he was disappointed in me.

"You don't even know me-"

"Kim"

"Kim!." Steve said at the same time as my dream. I opened my eyes and saw him above me, his eyes laced with worry.

"What?." I groaned croakily, not having a clue what was going on. He crouched down to besides my bed and stroked a piece of my hair out of the way.

"You were crying in your sleep. Are you okay?." His voice became delicate as he anticipated about me. I nodded and rolled over to face him completely.

"What's the time?." I asked him with my eyes slowly drooping.

"4 in the afternoon." Steve looked at the clock and replied to me. My eyes shot open and I jolted up, seeing Dustin, Lucas and Max at the doorway of my room with terrified looks.

Max was here?.

"What the fuck?!" I exclaimed, getting out of bed and rushing out of the room, past the three children. I opened the door to my parents room and saw it was empty, meaning my mother might have actually done her fucking job.

I hurried into the bathroom to brush my teeth, hearing light footsteps outside of the bathroom coming from my own room.

"Hey." Steve opened the door with his eyes closed incase I was naked, which I don't know why I would be. He opened one eye and sighed with relief.

"Don't act like you wouldn't have loved to see me naked, Steven." I said to him whilst my toothbrush was inside of my mouth, being conducted by my arm. He made a noise that indicated I was right as I spat out some toothpaste.

"What-" he started, looking at my face in the mirror from the door and walked over to me, moving my head so I was in a direct eyeline with him. "Who the fuck did that?." His nostrils flared as he tried not to let the anger consume him.

"Michael. He's got a nasty ass punch on him that baby. It fucking hurt like hell, Steve." I snorted and turned back to the little mirror attached to the cabinet door.

"Really?" He asked, half joking but half serious. I couldn't tell if he believed me or not but eventually he would when I continued to lie to him. He would've never noticed if I had woken up earlier.

"Mhm. He's lucky he's a baby and not a fully grown adult." I responded as I finished brushing my teeth and quickly tied my hair up, walking past Steve out of the bathroom.

"I'd be scared if your baby brother was a fully grown adult." He tried to joke, but then realised how silly he sounded, shaking his head as he followed me back into my bedroom.
