My legs continued to follow Steve as he walked further into the trailer park, very much angry with what had just happened.

"Steveee." I called to him in a long whine. He ignored me and continued to stamp his way towards wherever it was he wished to go. "Dont ignore me." He stopped and turned to face me, marching up to me so he was now in my face.

"What the fuck do you want, Kimberly?" He snapped, frightening me a little. I swallowed the lump in the back of my throat before I spoke.

"Why are you angry with me? I didn't cheat on you." I joked and pushed his shoulder lightly. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer so our bodies were touching.

"Because you're a sly bitch, Kimberly. You didn't need to humiliate Nancy or Kathleen like that. It was fucking uncalled for." He snarled and tightened his grip on my wrist.

"Let go of me Steve." I warned him.

"You just can't help yourself, can you? It always has to be about you! 'I'm Kimberly Cassidy and I need all the fucking spot light on me or I'll die'" he mocked me, squeezing tighter.

"I said let go!" My voice was loud as I tried to yank my arm from his fingers.

"Oi! Let go of her." Somebody ordered to Steve from behind us. He let go of me and looked at whoever it was.

"Listen, I don't know who you are and frankly this has nothing to do with you, so why don't you just fuck off and leave us alone?" Steve threatened and moved past me. I turned and saw it was that Billy guy who Eddie was talking to earlier.

"Nah. Sorry, but that won't be happening." He chuckled and flicked his cigarette away as Steve neared closer to him.

"You don't even fucking know her, so run along, okay?" Steve tried to make himself look bigger as he stood face to face with the boy who had danger swimming through his eyes.

"Steve." I warned, putting my hand on his shoulder so this wouldn't progress any further.

"You know, putting your hands on a woman like that isn't very manly of you." Billy's tone of voice was condescending but also harsh, as if he was about to beat Steve to death, given the opportunity.

"Alright, that's enough." Eddie interrupted the pair who looked like they were going to go all Jackie Chan on each other. "Break it up." He stepped in between the two and looked over to me. "You okay?" He asked me as I rubbed my wrist, nodding to him.

"You need to reconsider who you hang around with. People like him are bad news." Billy smirked over at Steve whilst speaking directly to Eddie.

"Whatever man." Steve scoffed and turned away, walking from the scene.

"You seen what he did to your girl?" Billy tried to egg on Eddie to start a fight with Steve. Eddie looked over to me with worry, checking my face to see any marks. "Her wrist." He pointed out, making Eddie gently hold my wrist in his hand. There wasn't any marks but my skin had become a little flared from the force, which made Eddie realise Billy wasn't lying.

"Steve!" Eddie called to my friend before running off to chase Steve with Billy behind him. I heard a loud smack from behind me as I walked away, pushing my hair out of my face and making my way back to Eddie's trailer.

I opened the door to see everybody was no longer enjoying the surprise party and were sat around waiting for something.

"Party's over!" I called to them as I saw Kathleen lay on the floor still with Barb and Nancy trying to convince her to get up. The crowd whined and groaned but listened to my orders anyway. "Thanks for coming" I said as a few of them passed by me.
