There was nothing better than sunbathing as a job, I could have sat here all day. There was times when I would need to actually do my job, but that was even better because it consisted of shouting at children, which was hilarious because they always shit themselves.

"Oi! Marcus! What did I say about running?!" I yelled to one of the locals who came every single day within these past 3 weeks.

I blew my whistle at the little girl running around the outside of the pool, hitting the foam bar off of peoples heads. "What do you think you're doing?!" I yelled over to her, causing the colour in her face to vanish. "Don't make me come over there and do the same to you!." I threatened her, gaining a few odd looks. Her parents were not happy with the way I spoke to her that day, but maybe they shouldn't have raised such a little shit.

Today, I sat in the chair and relaxed. The children weren't causing havoc and the parents were doing exactly as I was; relaxing and enjoying the sun without worrying for the children.

"Kim!" I heard my name being called. I sat up and lowered my sunnies, seeing Billy stood at the gate with a smug smirk on his face. Was it that time already?.

I climbed down the ladder to the chair and began making my way over to him, seeing Mrs Wheeler wrapping Holly up with a bright pink towel by the edge of the pool.

"Morning, Mrs Wheeler. Hi, Holly." I greeted them as I strolled past them, listening to the sound of my flip flops patter against the wet concrete.

"Hello, dear. Holly..say hi to Kimberly." Karen told her daughter who smiled brightly at me with her soaking wet hair and waved enthusiastically. I approached Billy who was stood underneath the shelter where the reception was.

"You're early." I told him, looking down at the watch attached to my wrist. He nodded in agreement.

"I thought I'd come and see you before your shift ended. We haven't spoken in a while, you usually keep me updated on those idiot friends of yours." He made a snarky remark but I knew it was only because they were always doing idiotic things, making them sound like shitty people.

"Very funny." I stuck my tongue out at him and turned to check if anybody was misbehaving. "Marcus!" I blew my whistle after I shouted at him, seeing the young boy sprinting around the pool. He went to stop but slipped on some water, landing straight on his back. I sighed and jogged around the pool over to him. "What do I tell you about running? Huh?" I grabbed onto his arm gently and helped him up, rubbing his back as he sobbed uncontrollably.

"I'm s-sorry K-Kimberly." He stuttered as his slim structured cheeks were soaked in his tears.

"It's okay, just listen to me next time. This is what happens when you don't listen." I scolded him lightly, proving my point of listening to the rules. "Where's your mum?." I asked him, giving him a small hug to make him feel better.

"Marcus, baby! What happened?!" I heard Mrs Moore calling from behind me, worry laced in her tone. I stood up with my hand on the top of the boys back, now looking at his mother with worrisome eyes.

"He slipped on the water." I told her with fake sympathy, knowing she wasn't a women to argue with.

"Marcus!" She exclaimed to the boy. "What has the lady told you about running?" Mrs Moore was on my side for the first time ever. My eyes bulged open and connected with Billy's who had chuckled at my expression. "Come on." She grabbed his hand and began to pull him away. "I'm so sorry, Kimberly." She apologised, using her hands as well as her voice. I nodded and made my way back to Billy with a sigh.
