The sound of my brothers crying was not the noise I had hoped to wake up to, but here I was, slumping down the corridor to their now new room where they were lay crying, their little eyes covered wet as i approached them.

"Come on now, boys." I cooed. "It's okay. Oh, come here." I walked over to Michael and took him in my arms, doing the same with Andrew as the pair of them quietened down whilst I walked back to my room with them. I closed the door with my foot and walked over to the bed, watching as Eddie's eyes fluttered opened and he rolled onto his back to see what was going on.

"Mornin'." He mumbled and rubbed his eyes. "Hello, boys." Eddie said to the twins and opened his arms to take one. I passed him Michael and got into the bed with them, pulling the covers over us and leaning back against the headboard as Eddie lay flat on his back with Michael on his chest. "How'd you sleep?." Eddie asked me with his eyes shut and one hand rubbing the back of Michael's head.

"Good." I said with a small smile. "And you?." I asked, feeling Andrew doze off against my shoulder.

"Best sleep I've had in weeks." Eddie opened one eye and looked at me with a smirk. "Even better night." He chuckled and closed his eye again, moving his hand down to Michael's back as the baby lay on his stomach on Eddie's chest. How Eddie was putting up with his weight, I'd never know.

"I'm surprised you're still here." I said honestly.

"What?." He asked and opened both of his eyes. "Why wouldn't I be?." Eddie moved his free hand from behind his head down to my covered leg.

"I don't know." I shrugged. "Just didn't expect to see you here." I avoided eye contact with him out of embarrassment.

"Well I am, and if there's bacon on the cards I'll stay longer." Eddie snorted and I shoved his head, causing Michael to start moaning quietly. "Look at what you've done." Eddie said with a smile and sat up, playing with Michael who obviously was not in a good mood today.

When was that baby ever in a good mood?. I mean, he'd already been brought into the world with physical health problems, and to top it all off, he had been brought into one of the most dysfunctional families a human being could ever imagine being apart of. I really didn't blame the poor boy for having a constant attitude.

"Isn't the fair this week?." I asked Eddie after a few moments of listening to him speak to my brother in a baby voice.

"Mhm." He mumbled. "You thinkin' of going?." He asked and turned to look down at me from the height difference.

"I don't know. Maybe." I shrugged. "I might take the boys." I looked down to Andrew who had his pacifier slowly slipping from his mouth due to his drool.

"Room for a plus one?." Eddie asked and I turned to face him.

"Really?." I asked, a little shocked that he wanted to come with us.

"Yeah. I don't see why not." Eddie smiled kindly and kept his eyes on me. "Unless you don't want me to-"

"No." I shook me head. "No, that'd be..nice." I said and grinned sheepishly.

"Great. 'Guess it's a date." He said unknowingly, making my eyes kind of bulge out of my head.

A date?. Eddie thought it was a date.
