Both me and Eddie skipped first period, sneaking out to the smoking bench and having a quick joint before second period began. He had managed to clean up my cuts for me and make me look a little more presentable. However, I would probably have to borrow a spare cheer uniform as mine was now dotted with patches of dried blood.

We both were in the same class for second period, which was chemistry with Mr Kaminski. He was a real asshole and I couldn't think of one person in the school who actually liked him. To top of him being the worst teacher in existence..I now had him for 2 hours because it was a double lesson.

Shoot me.

Me and Eddie weren't partners in this class but we did sit in the same row, which meant if needs be we could chat easily. As we walked back into the school, side by side, we were fully aware of the daggers and whispers from our peers about us.

"This school has way too much to say." I muttered up to him, not taking my eyes off of the students in the corridors.

"You learn to ignore it." He mumbled back in response.

"Don't worry, I never entertained it." I said with a quiet laugh. I approached our chemistry class first, expecting somebody to say something as soon as Eddie walked in behind me, but nobody even looked at us.

"Why is nobody staring at us?" I slowed my walking pace and turned my head over my shoulder to ask him.

"I have no fucking clue. This school works wonders, Princess." Eddie answered as he split off from me and sat at his and his partners desk. I took a few steps more than he and sat with my own partner, Abigail Clifford. She shared a genuine smile with me as i sat and carried on writing in her notebook.

"Morning, Class..."

I fucking hated chemistry.

"I actually hate him. I mean, why does he chose to torture us in such hideous ways?!" I exclaimed to Kathleen as we met up outside of the cafeteria for lunch. I had left my chemistry class and found Mrs Kirkland in the gym, explaining how I'd need a new uniform for the day which she wasn't too pleased about. Eddie had agreed to see me after school, making this day a little better.

"It's really not that bad." She tried to argue. I looked over to her in literal disgust and shivered as I replayed her words.

"How we ever became friends is beyond me. Nobody likes chemistry apart from you, of course." I said in response and rolled my eyes. She sniggered and kept by my side as we walked over to get our food.

"Where will we sit?" She asked me, referring to the fact I wanted to rip Harringtons face off and feed it to the ducks. I shrugged my shoulders and continued picking out bits of fruit and veg for my lunch.

Picking our trays up, we turned in sync and saw all eyes directly on me, well, apart from Steve's and Eddie's.

"What the fuck are you all looking at?!" Kathleen said to the room, who in return started chatting amongst them selves so it wasn't me who asked the question next time.

We stood there for a good minute, debating whether to sit with Barb; who was sat on Harringtons table or Eddie; who was part of the reason all of these idiots kept staring at me.

"I love you..but I also love her." Kathleen said quietly besides me, saying loud and clear that she was sitting with Steve, meaning I had no choice but to follow her.
