Eddies eyes burned into the side of my face as I pulled Steve back into the house, our hands interlocked and massive smiles on our cheeks. My eyes must've been swollen and red from all of the dramatics outside with Steve, but I was about to become so much of a drunken state that I wouldn't care in an hour.
"Do you want a drink?!." Steve pulled me into his chest from behind and yelled into my ear, his hands dancing on my waist as I twisted my head to look back at him.
"Go on then!." I shouted back with a smirk, feeling the emptiness from my hips when he pulled away through the crowd and into the open kitchen.
My eyes swarmed the crowd of people around me to see if I could see anybody worth talking to. I should've probably spoken to Eddie since he was the reason I had come here in the first place, but he was still chatting to Billy and they looked too much in the flow of a long conversation for me to even be bothered trying to steal my boyfriend away.
I was strangely surprised to see Kathleen no where to be seen. I could've sworn I saw her on my way in with a random short haired brunette, one that looked suspiciously like Paige. I stood still for a second before the light bulb in my brain switched on and I almost gagged at the image in my head.
The dirty little bugger. Get in there Kathleen, you sneaky little minx.
"Why do you look so surprised?." I heard somebody say to me, knocking me from my thoughts and catching Dustin looking up at me with a giant smile on his face, his hands stuffed inside of his Jean pockets.
"What in the fuck are you doing here?!" I exclaimed to the small child, grabbing onto his wrist and pulling it from his pants to look at his wrist watch. My eyes scanned the digital display and saw it was 9:45 and I knew that Dustin's mum would be appalled if she new where he was at this time. "Do you not have some sort of curfew? You're only 12!." I continued to shout at the boy because of the music, but it only made Dustin flinch a little as if there was no music and he could hear me loud and clear.
"Steve invited me." He shrugged with a grin still on his face. "And.." he began to speak again. "I am not 12, Kim." Dustin made a point of my previous comment.
"Regardless, you're not old enough to be here, Dust. Will your mum not be worried?." I asked him whilst I placed my hand on his shoulders, turning him around and pushing him out of the crowd towards the kitchen where Eddie, Billy and Steve were stood.
"My mom will be fine. She knows I'm with Steve, she trusts him!." Dustins voice began to gain pitch as he saw who we were approaching. "Alright!" He stopped himself and turned to face me. "Alright! Fine!..I snuck in here.." he muttered and lowered his head a little. "We..snuck in..here." He scratched the back of his neck and looked around, trying to avoid eye contact with me.
"We?." I asked him sternly, placing my hands on my hips.
"Maybe.." he said and put his palm out to me to suggest I listen to him. "Maybe, Lucas and Mike are with me also..maybe!." He quickly added onto to suggest what he was saying could've been true.
I stood and stared at him for a while, not believing he had the balls to do anything so stupid, especially infront of Steve.
"What the hell are you doing here, shit brain?!." Steve's voice interrupted my thoughts on how to get them out with a quick and easy escape plan which was now out of the window.
