It had been little over a week since my suspension and you're an idiot if you think me and Eddie hadn't seen each other for that long.

Infact, we had been with one another that much that I hadn't taken the time to even speak to Kathleen and apologise for putting her in the middle of the situation. I think deep down, I was using Ed as an excuse not to do so, because I was terrified that I would look exactly how Paige made me out to be, and that was the last thing I needed people talking about.

I knew it was bad when I finally went to school on the next Thursday afternoon and watched Kathleen walk straight by me without a single glance, almost as if I wasn't even there.

Friday morning was a little easier considering I had expected it, but it still hurt to see her ignore me. The hardest part of Friday morning was watching her walk through those doors side by side with Paige, and i realised she wasn't upset with me, she was furious.

"She's being petty." I remembered Eddie saying to me from his opened locker, rolling his eyes at the smaller girl who was giggling away at something Paige had said, which was most likely not funny.

When I got home that day, I decided to make due out of my freedom for the weekend and grab Steve, Eddie, the kids and Billy for a lovely little outing.

I took them down to the reservoir on the furthest side to Hawkins you could go, hearing the majority of complaints from Eddie and Dustin who either bickered the whole time over how exhausted one of them was or why I was torturing them into so much exercise.

When we finally got to a nice and cosy spot, the boys practically devoured all of the snacks and left absolutely nothing for me and Max. I scolded every single one of them and almost pushed Eddie into the water for asking if we had more.

I spent the night at his trailer and I'm sure you all know what went down there, and I woke up on Saturday feeling like absolute shit. Eddie made sure to take good care of me with the reminder that 'as well as a chef, he was also a nurse'.

I slept for the majority of the day, awakening every now and again to the sound of Eddie swearing at something quietly to himself or the feeling of his body dipping onto the bed and his arms wrapping around my waist for comfort.

Luckily, I felt miles better today and when I woke up, I heard Eddie on the phone to somebody, laughing like there was no tomorrow. I threw my legs over the edge of the bed and trotted down the narrow hallway out into the lounge/kitchen. Eddie's eyes shifted over to me, dressed in one of his band shirts and some fluffy black socks.

"Yeah..yeah, sure...I'll ask her.." Eddie said to whoever it was on the phone, holding it to his chest as he turned to me. "Everybody's going to the theatre tonight, do you want come with?." He asked me as he leant his whole body weight against the wall. I nodded and opened the cupboards up whilst he went back to his conversation. "We'll be there..alright..shit, that ain't good.." Eddie's liveliness died down at something the person on the other end had said to him. I turned to face him and studied his expression. "Uh, just a little bit complicated.." he scratched the back of his neck. "That sounds good...alright...see ya later, man." Eddie hung the phone back up and turned to look at me with a bright smile.

"Who was it?." I asked him with a glass of water in my hand.

"Steve." His reply was flat. "You look a lot better." Eddie walked over to me, pulling me into his bare chest by my shoulders.
