Eddie took his fist and clenched them into a ball to knock four times on the wood of my front door loudly, actually startling me a little as I was stood so close to it.
A small grin crept onto my face as I approached the front of the house; I took in a deep breath as my fingers wrapped themselves around the door handle and swung the door open to Eddie, who had one hand leant on the frame, keeping his body weight up as his other hand was holding onto a cigarette just in front of his lips, hovering.
"Well shit, princess." He smirked as his eyes locked with mine. I rolled my eyes playfully and closed the door behind me. "Don't you look sexy." His tone was mischievous. He gave my bum a gentle tap before he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and left a kiss on the top of my head.
"I'd say the same for you, but you always look sexy." I shrugged at him casually, releasing myself from his grip and opening the passenger side door to his van.
"Stop. I'm blushing now." Eddie said in a basic American white girl voice, flicking his hair over his shoulder as he walked around the hood of his van to get into his side.
I snorted at him, buckling myself in and picking up an unopened sweet by his gear stick.
"Can I have this?" I asked him whilst opening the wrapper; I was going to eat it regardless of his answer.
"Of course, sweetheart. It's not like my answer would've mattered." He smirked over to me as he started up the engine.
"No. You're right." I smiled to myself before popping the caramel sweet into my mouth, letting the chocolate from the inside melt onto my tongue. "Oh..this is good." I moaned in glee at what my tastebuds were experiencing.
"They are, but they ain't half as good as sour patch kids." Eddie stated with a slight scoff, loving those bloody sweets more than me.
"That's just a complete and utter lie because starbursts are way better than them both." I crossed my arms over my chest whilst I continued to suck on the little caramel soother sweet. Eddies head snapped in my direction as if he was offended. "What?" I asked him with a chuckle.
"Take it back." He threatened, letting his bottom lip hang out as to pretend to be sad. "Don't do this to me, princess. Take it back." His finger was now pointing in my face as he kept looking back towards the road.
"Nope." I shook my head and tried to hide the wide grin spreading across my cheeks.
"I'll remember this!" Eddies voice raised in a joking manner. "In fact." He paused to put his index finger in the air, still keeping his eyes on the road. "I'll never forget this!" He slammed his hand onto the horn and and laughed loudly, taking a quick look over to me with an evil grin.
"You just said the exact same thing, twice." I told him with a shake of my head, biting my bottom lip as I stared at his beauty.
"No I didn't." He argued with a raised eyebrow.
"Uh, yes you did. Remembering something and not forgetting it are literally the same thing, Ed." I watched his face as his expression changed from confused and bewildered to realisation.
"Why did you have to point that out? Smart ass." He scoffed and rolled his eyes before a small smirk appeared on his lips.
"Cause I'm a smart arse." I chuckled before I felt his right hand digging into my sides, tickling me. "fuck off!" I yelled in hysterics, squirming around the seat whilst trying to undo my seatbelt.
