I decided to take a nap after Eddie had left, and it was possibly the worst choice I could've made.

There was that light again. Shining bright into my eyes as if it wasn't possible to blind me. I held my hand up in front of my face to block off the illumination but it disappeared as soon as I did so.

I dropped my hand and saw Eddie in the doorway again, standing completely still with his arms down by his side. I wanted to ignore him, hoping if I did he wouldn't say something horrible to me as he always did, but that didn't happen.

"Eddie?." I called out to him, watching his shadow inch closer to me as he took small steps towards my body. He never responded, just walked and walked and walked until his feet came to a sudden halt right in front of my face. "Eddie." I said his name again.

Eddie scoffed at me. "You don't know me." Were his same words. "You don't even know me, Kim." Eddie growled at me.

"I do." I nodded with the tears threatening to spill. "I do know you. I love you, Eddie." My voice broke as I tried to reach out for him.

"Stop that." He shook his head. "Stop saying that."

"Eddie.." I cried. "Please." I bit my bottom lip as he sniggered.

"I'm not!." He yelled. "Stop it, Kim!." Eddie voice grew louder and deeper. "Stop lying to yourself!."

"I'm not - I-I." I shuddered and he grew taller, at least 6'5.

"You know me. Stop saying that." I didn't understand what he was saying.

"Eddie!." I screamed at him as I dropped to my knees and covered my ears with my hands as he laughed menacingly at me.

"I - AM - NOT -"

I jolted up from my bed and let out the biggest breath ever, sweat dripping from my skin as I looked around the dark room, only the light from the street lamp illuminating the space.

I let out a breathily sigh and shook my head.

"Fucking stupid dre- AH!." I screamed at the sound of a small bang on the window. I quickly covered my mouth and waited for the sound of footsteps or crying, but the house was as silent as it was still.

I quickly picked up a t-shirt from the floor and threw it over my head, peaking out of the window to see Billy under the ledge infront of my front door with a large grin on his face.

I slid the window up and climbed onto the ledge, looking down at him.

"What the fuck are you doing, Bil?!." I exclaimed to the boy who took a few steps back.

"I came to see you." He shrugged and carried on smiling up at me.

"What time is it?." I asked him.

"Half Twelve."

"Half twe- Billy, go home." I said and scoffed, turning around to go back to bed.

"No!." He said with a slight hiss. "Kim..wait." I stopped and sighed, dropping my shoulders and turning back to him. "Me and my dad had a fight..I didn't know where else to go. I'm sorry." He apologised as my face softened, feeling bad for him immediately.
